Jessicurl substitute

Does anyone know if there is a good drugstore brand that might be comparable to Jessicurl's Hair Cleansing Cream and Too Shea condish? I was hoping to get some for Christmas but didn't and don't really want to dish out alot right now on those. I have read some things about the Suave condish but I don't recall which one was recommended. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Hey Red - I use Suave Coconut condish for a co-wash, however it's not really a "cleanser". I'd just make a career out of reading labels (we're already doing it for food, so might as well do it for hair!) Make sure you're getting something cone-free and sulfate-free, if you're following CG. Some girlies just use "less" regular shampoo than normal and kinda water it down so it's not so drying on the nice curls we've all worked so hard to acheive. You can get Low Poo or No Poo at ULTA, but those cost a bit more than drugstore brands. I use Jessicurl's Hair cleansing cream, but at $12 it's expensive - I only use it once per week so that's how I justify spending that on such a small amount.

Hope that helps!

I currently use Hair Cleansing Cream and I do really like it but having spent so much for Christmas gifts and what not, I don't really want to dish out more at the moment. I will take a look at that Suave condish. I think that is the one I have heard about before.
