Losing curl after haircut?

I recently switched to a new hairdresser and my hair is becoming straighter and straighter!
When I first went to her I had been using henna on my hair for 6 years. I felt the henna was causing me to lose curl (although my hair was at mid back) I chopped my hair off above my shoulders and starting dying it again.
It was very damaged for a while but now it is super healthy again. I have always had problems with my hair curling at the top but never EVER the underneath! Now, ever since I have been seeing her, even my lovely spiral curls underneath are gone! I noticed the last time I went in she razor cut the back and lower portion of my hair. I was horrified...not only did she thin my hair out waaayyy to much my curls have been a struggle ever since.
Do you think the razor cut is the problem or the dying?
At this point I dont want her to cut it anymore!

I had two razor cuts that were a disaster! I didnt realize it until the 2nd one! Gave me horrible split ends and made me very fuzzy and undefined. What took the cake is that stylist left the salon and when I went back to the same salon a different stylist asked who in their right mind used a razor on my hair - I said a stylist from this salon! After that cut I never went back to that salon!

Well the bummer is this stylist is considered one of the best to cut curly hair! I dont get it! My hair honestly has never looked this bad in all my life..every time I wash it I want to cry...I literally cant do anything with it. The curl just falls right out! I have no idea what to do in the meantime while waiting for it grow out. ugh.

You do know that regular, healthy, curly hair is flat and "straight" on the top and underneath right? Its just gravity.
