Hair feeling "coated" and scalp itchy

I am new to this site, and hope it helps me as I have FINALLY stopped fighting with my hair and I'm letting it be curly and naturally (I'm 43). I went to a salon for a Deva cut, bought all the recommended products, and after 3 weeks of being faithful, I find my hair feels "coated" and my scalp is very itchy and feels dirty. I loved the way my hair looked in the beginning, but now I'm really struggling to feel good about my hair. I use the no-poo and the one-conditioner, followed by the B-Leave and finally the AnGell. I'm dying to use an old shampoo I have in the closet just to get my scalp and hair feeling "clean" again. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks to all in advance for any advice!!
Are you really massaging the scalp well when you CO cleanse? I found out the hard way that you really need to spend a good 3-5 minutes massaging to get as clean as you would get from about 30 seconds of shampooing. You really need to get in there with the fingertips and scrub.

Being CG is definitely a process. If after really massaging, you still feel the need to shampoo, then do it, and see if you can go longer next time. It took me several months to get all the way CG, using shampoo occasionally as I needed to.
I know some do an apple cider vinegar rinse of some sort for clarifying purposes...I've never done it myself, but it's popular. You can probably find it here on the site somewhere.
Hair Type: 2B/3A hybrid, I believe. Had it short for about 5 years, and have since let it grow. Layers have brought out the curl...and I haven't gone 'straight' since!

The Deva products are pretty rich, so if you are using all of them everyday, then it could be too much for your hair. Try water washing and scrub/massaging with your fingertips before rinsing really well, then use the OneC and rinse out most or all of it before adding the other products. An ACV rinse might be helpful, too. Use 1/4 C to 2 Cups water and pour over hair, scrunch in and rinse out before conditioning and using styling products. HTH!

When my head feels itchy I use a brown sugar scrub. Just mix some in with your regular CO wash (right before you're going to use it, or else it disintegrates too fast) and scrub away. It really helps!
A 3B trying to regain control of the frizz!

If you have the Curly Girl book, there are several recipes in there that definitely do a good job at getting rid of gunk and/or product heaviness. Lemon-Aid and What a Curl Wants are my personal favorites. She doesn't have an ACV rinse in there, but that, too, will refresh your head.

What do you unrecommended for a store brought calcifying shampoo?...and how often do you use it?...
Do you mean clarifying? If so, then probably Deva No Poo is your best bet.

You might also want to check out the forum that's dedicated to going shampoo-less -- some great threads there and also a sticky about how to go shampoo-less.

I really like Ojon Detox shampoo-it's not CG, though. It smells really bad-like perm solution (scent doesn't linger) yet leaves my hair moisturized.
