wow... just wow.

I say find anywhere you can online and write a review about her, weather or not she gives you a refund.
Please try to post a better picture, we can't really see anything in that one. You are a beautiful woman and I'll bet it really isn't that bad. You don't need to get a weave, lots of curlies have shorter hair that looks just fine. You'll just have to find something that works with yours now. ((hugs)) I'm sorry you had such a bad experience and she was so unprofessional.

I am so sorry that you had such a horrible experience! I have had a bad haircut or two in my time, but I have never encountered a stylist as rude as the woman you described!!!

Maybe you can go to this link: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons/salons_map.php and see if there are any stylists in your area who specialize in curly hair and who might be able to help you. Would you be willing to go shorter if the hairstylist could do it in a way that you thought looked good?
Here is an example of what I mean:

Since you have ringlets, something like that might actually look really nice on you. I know you are used to having your hair long, but since this lady cut more off than you would have liked her to, you have to work with what you have. I'm not saying that you have to go shorter by any means, that is completely your decision. But it's something a new stylist might suggest to you in order to correct the damage that was done, and you might want to consider it.
thank you for the picture ,,
it looks good on that woman , but not on me

what i have right now if you would want to give the haircut a name is a curly mullet short on the sides and on top and long in the back ,
the lady at the weave place said i need to fill in my sides and my back , on the sides because there is only short hair and i need 9 inch added in length so they be just as long as in the back again
and in the back hair to fill some layers in the gab between the short and the long hair so it wont be looking so weird ...
Definitely research the method of adding extensions before you do it. Some methods can actually break hair when they're removed. I would also look into getting a better sylist and never go back to that one again. She is unprofessional and rude. I know that you don't want to hear this, but it might be better for your hair in the long run to have your hair recut into a style by a competent stylist. There are actually curly bobs that are not as "big" as the pic shown or maybe you could straighten or use bobby pins through the growing out stage. It will get better. Sorry that you're going through this.

it will be a sewn in weave , is that hair damaging ?
she will do it without the braid so it will not be so thick,
or i can have it sewn on a braid to if i want to ,
what is less bad for the hair ?
Wow this is a terrible experience, I can't believe she did that to you in your home in front of your family. What? Audacity of that woman! I think I honestly would have wound up physically hurting her if my hair was that beautiful and got hacked up. I know that sounds immature and terrible, but what she did was just selfish.

She needs to give you your money back asap. And she needs to be reported to the BBB asap as well. That's just uncalled for. What type of training does she have?

Good luck with whichever option you choose, whether to let it grow on it's own or getting the weave done.

You might want to leave a citysearch review b/c it's a fairly big resource. You honestly have beautiful hair and I'm sure you can pull it off until you get some new length.

I know its not what you would have chosen and I'm not undermining how upset you are.

And maybe it wont take as long as you think to grow back, when hair is short it grows much quicker as the nutrients have less work to do getting to the ends of longer hair.

I am sorry you are so upset, keep smiling, those good cheek bones will get you through it!

I am so, so sorry for you! I agree though that you are a beautiful girl and I think you'd look fantastic no matter what style you hair was. Still, having it chopped off is traumatic. It's precisely what happened to me and is the reason I haven't sat in a salons chair in ten years. I have bra strap length hair and I just trim it myself at home. One nice thing about curly hair is the cut doesn't have to be perfect as with straight hair. I get lots of compliments on my hair so I must be doing something right. I believe there is alot of bs advice about how we must get our hair trimmed to keep it healthy. Uh, hair is dead, there is no health to it. I hope the weave helps make you feel pretty again. I can so empathise with what you are feeling. When your hair does grow out seriously, just trim it at home - either do it yourself, have your husband do it for you, or a girlfriend that you really trust. Invest in a great pair of hair scissors.
I’m so sorry for you!, Try to keep on mind that your hair will grow back and it is going to be even more beautiful than before. See what happened to me. Last night I went to my new hairdresser, and she chopped my hair so bad, that it looks like she was mad at me when she cut it. I got home last night at 7p, I washed my hair and tried to styled as better as I could. After that, I went to bed to cry! I felt ugly and stupid. Nevertheless, my husband came to my rescue and explained to me that my hair is just an extension of my beauty-NOT ALL MY BEAUTY, and even though that made me cry even more, I felt better afterwards. It is true; we are beautiful even when some bad hairdresser do these things to us. I just called my former hairdresser and explained what happened. She advised me to wait two weeks and then go see her for a relaxer, that at least is going to help me handle my hair while is this Short! I know this may not make you feel better, but I want you to know that I can relate. Does anybody know a good treatment I can use until I go to my former hairdresser? Is hot oil ok? Moreover, what brand do you recommend?
Oh gosh, I can relate. All throughout my middle school years I had a mullet due to my stylist, but my mom couldn't afford to send me anywhere else. I had haircut trauma and didn't cut it again for years.

I hope the weave works out for you, and I'm so sorry you had to go through all of this.
Lots and lots of fine 3b-ish hair.
DevaCurl currently, but exploring new products.
Love the hair!
