Big hair
Do you like your big hair or do you fight it? I have fine thin hair and I like it big, but most of the time, I try to minimize the volume, especially for work........eeh gads, I've been brainwashed to believe less is more. Ok, I need to try big hair at work, must try big hair at work.......

I don't have very big hair, but I love big hair and wish mine were bigger! I think it's such a striking, exotic, sexy look. I wish my hair would do that!

I voted for BIG hair. It seems like I spent most of my life trying to calm my big hair (or what I thought was big hair), now, I just let it do its thing. I must be doing something right, I get a ton of PM's about how I get so much volume I actually have a little spiel saved about my routine so I can respond

I think "big hair" means a lot of different things to different people and depends upon perception, but I say "thumbs up" to what it is to me.

I love big hair in others, but I try to fight it on my own hair. Sorry, despite all the wondeful curlies here and their advise, I am still too self-conscious about my hair.

i feel pretty much the same way--although as my hair gets longer i'm getting more tolerant. i also think that for me, at barely 5'2" if my hair gets too big it overpowers me.

i tried to insert a pic but couldn't, so i made it my avatar. i love this model's hair. if someone can tell me how to insert a pic (like one i have saved, not from a website) i'd like to start a thread where people can post pics of beautiful big hair.

my hair isn't SUPER big, but it's definitely a lot bigger than most of the girls in my high school. once i was walking down the hall and some senior guys who were walking along behind me were saying how my hair looked like a "big bush." i was mildly horrified. but later, someone told me that i have the prettiest hair in the entire school, so i'm left not knowing WHAT to think! wink:

I'm not sure how to answer this one. I guess it depends on what you mean like big.....do you mean 60's afro big.....or 70's Farrah Faucet juice can curls big...or 80's rock star poofy big?

I voted for big hair. My hair is big, and I´ve always tried to "control" it. Now I´m less conscious(not completely!) of my hair, since I´ve learned (thanks to you all ) to keep it properly moisturized.
