Rotating Products

Do you find that every so often you have to switch your products? Sometimes something will work for a while and then if I notice something isn't right I will switch to another product then switch back again. Does this happen to you often? Maybe this gives us PJ some excuse to have so many products?

Yes, I rotate products. I like to have at least 3 conditioners that will double as leave-ins in my rotation. The difficult part: finding 3 conditioners that I like that aren't heavily fragrant.

I rotate all my products every day. I don't use the same thing two days in a row. Since I started rotating, I never have products that just stop working.

It's because I have such an unbelievable amount of products that I have the urge to try something different everyday. I am going to try -- repeat, try -- to start using my styling products at least 3-5 days in a row just to get a more accurate idea of how a product really works for me. Yeah, we'll see how long that works.

I love to rotate hair products, but I rotate not because I'm a PJ or I get bored but because all hair products work differently in my hair. What I use depends on how I want my hair to look that day. I get different results with different combos. My hair does change with the seasons so I also rotate because of this.

I have found the only thing I need to change up is what rinse out conditioner I am using.

I haven't rotated my products since Oct. though, I imagine that warmer weather will dictate a change.
