As for SiF, I've been wanting to try this for a long time, but I was always discouraged by the beeswax. And now with the price jump, there's kind of..no chance i'd want to get hooked on it.

I was very disappointed to see the exorbitant price raise at cosmeticmagic.com for deva products. It was such a good price there. They reaised the price of the 32 ounce bottles $6. I wrote to them.

I had no idea the price of SIF went up. I only use it to scrunch the crunch so a bottle lasts a while. That's so disappointing. That's another product I use that has gone up in price this year.

Thanks, ladies, for that info. Pinksugar, what's your hair type?

Here are the ingredients from Jamaican Mango/Lime No More Itch Gro Spray:

Update: The ingredients I had orignally posted from a web site (and have now erased) were incorrect. I saw this in a Sally's and wrote down the correct ingredients:

Here are the Deva SIF ingredients from here on NC:

If anyone has a Harmon Beauty Supply nearby, that's where I picked up mine. They had One C, Low Poo, No Poo, B-Leave In, Set It free and the gels. I didn't even go in there for that but happened to see them and said hey, what the heck. Don't know if they all carry Deva though.

Yes- Jamaican Mango & Lime No More Itch Gro spray (unmedicated) is supposed to be very similar. You can find it in the drugstores "ethnic" section.

I can't find the Jamaican Mango and Lime anywhere either. Last year I saw it at Walgreens and Walmart but they aren't carrying it any more.

I found this at a brand new Sally's. I didn't buy it because it smelled medicine-y and the ingredients didn't seem too close to SIF after all. It was really inexpensive- $2.89.
I ended up buying got2b playful Creme Pomade. It's nothing like SIF but I'm getting great results. It cost $5.00.
I'm going to answer my own question and say there is NOTHING similar to SIF! I thought the creme mentioned above was working until I got a little more SIF out of the bottle this morning. My hair looks completely different! I guess this will just be one product I will have to pay more for. The good news is I called the beauty salon to see if they had any in stock and they do, plus they are still selling it for $15.00. I'm going to buy a couple bottles!
aww man! I finally found the jamaican mango and lime at a walgreens. but alas, the ingredients are way different from what was poster. there are like 6 ingredients, and the second one was mineral oil
