Default How often do you DT?

I find that my hair looks so much better when I DT, and have started doing it about twice a week...but I'm just wondering when you all think enough is enough.

I do once a week. Sometimes I leave oil on overnight 1-2 times during the week depending on my work schedule and when I'm washing.

Deep Treatment. I use to do DT every week. Now that it's healthy I only
do them every 2 weeks.

I only DT when I clarify, which is every one to two months.

My hair is a lot healthier now, and it isn't dry really.

A clarifying and DT once in a blue moon seems to give it a good re-boot, though.

I do it once a week to 10 days. I use either Jessicurl WDT or the Curls Ecstacy Asian Tea condish for a DT. I also mix a little Too Shea in with the WDT, as well as a little honey and maybe some avocado oil sometimes.

I DT every week usually, but sometimes I'll do it twice a week. I love to use protein treatments as my DT: I usually use Redken Deep Fuel, but since I'm trying to go cone-free I have been using Biolage Cera-Repair Fortetherapie tubes.

Like Ladydncing, I used to do it every week. Now I try to do an ACV rinse and DT every other week. I like how Mayim put it...it gives my hair a 're-boot'.

My hair never seems to get dried out so I don't think I really need to dt. But I do it once a month because it certainly won't hurt my hair, and I like the process and the time it gives me to sit around for an hour and read or do my nails or take a nap.

Never? Once in a blue moon? :P My hair is very healthy, my products are good, I don't need to DT.

When I got the wretched salon highlights last year, I DT'd every few weeks though. But now that they've grown out and I do my own, hardly ever do a DT. And then only because it's sittin' on the shelf and I might as well use it!

I do it once a week. Still experimenting with things. Today I had a shea+coconut oil+ aloe vera DT. I liked the way it left my hair.

my oldest DD told me I smell like peanut butter because of it.

There was no option for twice a month. That's about what I do. I'm also in the middle of one right now!

eastcoastwaves, I was just about to use the Ojon RT as well! It is great stuff!

I haven't DT'ed in a while, but I am starting to do one every two weeks or so. I'm hoping to get my hair to a place where its healthier so I don't have to do a DT as much...

I do a deep treatment once a fortnight.

I think my hair has a protein addiction. Or maybe its me with the addiction of loving my protein treated hair! I put the mask on then put a plastic cap on and hit it with the hairdryer, then, I put the moisture mask over the top and let it cool down and rinse. it has so much volume after!

I do like the results of the Ojon, however, last night I put it in a little farther up than usual (ans some on my canopy) just above my ears, and I think some got on my scalp. Anyway, I was up this morning at 5am with an itch head! I had to get up & wash like crazy to get it off, and even though i washed twice with neutrogena anti residue, and twice with aveda sap moss ( i couldn't bring myself to wash 4 times with neutrogena ) My hair still has oil residue, but is drier than usual due t the mega-washing. (Thank goodness for Biolage conditioning balm!!!) anyway, my scalp feels fine now. Lesson learned, do not put the Ojon RT anywhere near my scalp.
