Please help hair typing a long hair.

Hello could someone please help hair type my hair. I am new here and trying to learn how to appreciated my hair. The top of my hair is flat because of the length. I recently cut 10 inches off so I could have a strait cut. Now I am around 33 inches long. My hair at the middle and ends are curly. I used Henna for about 3 years and I believe it also took some of my curls away. I am not sure if it Henna or the length that changed my curls. Anyway I am rambling, but I do appreciated this site and everyone here. Thank you Catladyintown

Here is my hair when it is strait usually in 3 or 4 days. Before the cut.

Welcome catladyintown! I love how long your hair is.

My guess would be 3a or maybe 2c. I'd lean towards 3A becuase I am thinking you're a 3A with longer, stretched out, looking curls due to the length.
Kiva! Microfinance works.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.
Thanks redcelticcurls I hope I am 3a. When my hair was bsl it was very curly. But my hair is very thin also and coarse. Just starting to learn what type of products to use. I mainly have been making my on recipes, but I don't know any that are good for curly.

I was thinking 2b or 2c (waves). I don't think you have curls (3).
Thanks Brown_Eyed_Girl I will check out the recipe board. Hi Lapushka sometimes I think I have 2b or 2c. But when my hair is wet is is very curly. Think about a 2 or 3 inch bounce when stretched. Hope that makes since. When I took that picture it was dry and I had Ojon in my hair (green dress). The one in the red dress is when I was doing SO only. So now I am not sure if I am 3 or 2. The long it get the ends are very curly and the top is kind of curly sometimes and flat other times. When I get out of the show the top of my hair is like tight dreadlocks, and the ends are curly. If I did not finger comb my hair on top it would become like permit dreadlocks on top and very hard to get out. This is what so confusing about my hair. And why I always want to try and have strait hair, but now I trying to learn how to appreciate my curls.

I never comb unless it has conditoner in it, or I detangle right before I wash.
Hi Lapushka thanks for the help. What I usually do is just Water Rinse. I have yet to try any styling products, because I am totally lost in what to get. I have mainly been making my own herb recipes for the last 2 years. If I just leave my hair as is when I get out of the shower, all I have is knots, big painful ones. Think long hair that got caught in a weed whacker.
