I do have very dense hair - main reason I wear it pulled back as I get tired of people making comments about my "big hair".

I do have clumps come out at times when running conditioner through it. I do think mine is shedding since I have so much. I just wish it would be the frizzy/coarse hairs which would shed.

I see your hair as having nice movement while mine is like a helmet.

No bald spots is a good sign, but I would still mention it to the doctor. I have found that many symptoms I dismissed should have been mentioned to my doctor.

And I don't have the poof I used to have!
For some reason, I'm unable to see your picture but I want to say that my hair was a poofball before I went Cg, but that's only because my hair was frizzy. Now that the frizz in my hair is virtually eliminated, it became thinner.

Perhaps it's the frizz that made your poofball?

I noticed that if you have big curls or clumps, it looks like as if you have a very few of curls in your hair. But if you do the Icequeen method, it gives you so many small clumps, which, in overall, gives your hair an optical illusion that it's much denser. Try it! It worked well for it and hid most of the bald patches for me.

I always wondered if some people counted their hairs, haha!

I honestly can't remember if I shedded more hair pre-CG or not. Although I was brushing/combing and I'm sure that got some of those extra loose hairs. I figure as long as I'm not going bald, I'll be ok!

Yes i think it has something to do with the fact that I dont brush my hair anymore, and then all the hairs separated otu. I don't consider my clumps big, I get about 10-12 in my head, but still it makes me look translucent, see through my curls. I would love to get even smaller clumps, to add thickness, I'll try the ice queen again, but I have been and my clumps just go into those big clumps. Any other techniques to get more separated clumps?? Although in the clumps I have there's like 30-40 hairs (guesstimate) and if I haev any smaller clumps, they'll be little wispy things.
