In case you never figured out clipping,

Thank you for the clipping video! I was having no luck with the Deva method. I tried yours yesterday morning. I have short layers on the top and it's usually flatish. I also diffused (thanks to feedback from some other wavy curlies) pixie style and wow - my hair looked fabulous. Big, bouncy curls.

Plus, I'm typing this at my computer with amazing second day hair. All I did was spray my hair with a homemade mixture of Sebastian Wet and water - and I have fabulous, defined curls.

A million thanks!

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names and each is a different color. But they all have to learn how to live in the same box. ~Anonymous

Wow, great video. I can't wait to try the clipping method. I never tried it before b/c I thought I would have a tangled mess. Pictures are great.

Wow! I love your clipping video! Such a simple variation of clipping methods that did not work for me. This one works! Thanks!!!!

Can't thank you enough Shellynot. Got first time root volume using your video. It made all the difference in the world and I got lots of compliments.
I tried it, it didn't work well. I ended up with wonky hair sticking up in loops, the top of my head looked square like Frankenstein or something. I had clipped mostly the top, a little of the sides. My hair stays in whatever shape it dries in, hence the funny loops and squarish top. It was hard to get the hang of clipping the whole loop, my hair clumps so much that it was hard to separate curls for loops. Oh well. Maybe I'll try again some time just for fun.

I've learned to remove them before my hair is too dry so they have a chance to unloop a bit. This has been working well for me for a long time, it's quick and easy to do the clipping now. Thanks again for your wonderful videos, shellynot.

For those looking for clips, I got mine at Sally's and they don't have that crossbar. I had some like that, but they kept tangling in my curls.
