Loving my Deva Cut and CK products - pix in my new Fotki

So 2 weeks ago I went for a Deva Cut. Nothing new...I actually just had her redo my first Deva Cut style since I liked it so much the first time.
Anyways, I went back to using my Deva Products but was not loving the feel of my hair. The NoPoo is ok and Conditioner is great.....it's the Gel I can't stand. It feels so darn heavy and icky. So I went and ordered the Curl Keeper style starter kit and LOVE it. I have had such GREAT hair days since I've been using it. I went ahead and placed another order yesterday for full bottles of this stuff. I just got the curl keeper and the gel. Today I tried the Slip Detangler from the starter kit and liked it but I don't know that I necessarily need it b/c my hair never tangles really. But I used it anyways since I had it.
I just love the shape of my cut. I don't have the patience or temperment for longer hair. Whenever it gets long enough to put in a pony tail...it's basically in a pony tail every day. This length now is short enough to be fun & flirty and keep it down but still long enough to do an updo. I actually did it up yesterday and my husband said it looked so cute. It really did, I wish I took pix. I had a bunch of perfect ringlets falling in all the right places. The hair gods have definitely been smiling on me lately. And I'm definitely impressed by the CK products b/c the last few days has been that annoying light rainy drizzle weather and my hair never frizzed. Maybe get a little curlier but definitely no frizz.
Sorry to be all showy but you know how you feel when you have a great hair day...you just want to share it with the world.
You can see pix in the new Fotki I finally started. Took me forever to figure out the how to use it but I finally did it.

Absolutely love, love your hair! I would very much like (I think your length). My hair is very coarse and 3a & 3b - what about your's.

Great job! Glad you like CK - I too love it; though some people on this site like it better alone in the humidity and add gel to it in the winter. I started as you did with the sample kit - great way of introducing you to it without spending a fortune

You and your hair are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!! Awesome cut!
Notty...
I put a nice palm full of CK and then just about a nickle amount of gel. I've never tried the CK w/o Gel. I'm just so use to using gel it never dawned on me not to use it. Maybe I'll try that next weekend and see how it comes out.
Do you use the detangler too?
As for my hair texture: I don't really consider it coarse. There were times in my curlhood where I would have considered it coarse to very coarse...but I blame it on puberity and the curls not being taken care of the right way. I didn't always have curly hair. I had pin straight hair until I was about....12ish. I'm a bit of a freak of nature. I use to pray for curls and beg my mom for a perm...and now I have these.
I'm not positive either if my hair is necessarily a 3B or 3A or 3AB. But I'm somewhere in there.
One last thing: Are you able to get 2nd day hair? I have yet to do it and am so needing to figure out how to do it.

Oops forgot to answer the detangler question. I don't use it as I don't have a tangle problem once my hair is co-washed. I also comb it out in the shower so don't have tangles.

Wow, I really love your cut and hair too. It really looks great on you. While I do tend to like the One Cond at times I do not care for Deva gels for my hair. And now your making me want to try CK again!

You hair cut is awesome!! It's so chic, I absolutely love it. I know you were using Ouidad, how does the CK compare or differ from Ouidad? I have both, but starting to think the the CK works better.

Your hair looks absolutley fantastic! It just looks so......perfect, lol. I can only dream that my hair will look that healthy, soft and frizzfree.

As a side note, I remember when you posted about getting it cut at Cala Renee. I went there about a week later for a cut and Cala had chopped hers off as well and she was still talking about what an awesome job erin did on your hair.

Still looks great, and Curlyclaudia, you're sporting some pretty fantastic curls as well!
