I love the warmer weather...

...Everything is so much easier!

I've only really been paying attention to my hair since August, but I am so so glad winter is over.

No more waiting two hours for my hair to dry -- not only does the warmer weather speed the drying, but I can also sit in front of my low-power desk fan and only spend half an hour drying. (:

I look back at my photos from September and October and I just such shiny hair -- I'm hoping that once I adjust my routine to the warmer weather, the shine will come back (since that's been a bit of an issue for me lately).

Oh, and YAY HUMIDITY!

That is all.
Location: North NJ or NYC
I'm loving the warmer weather, but I'm enjoying the nice weather before the humidity strikes !!

It'll be interesting to see how my hair responds to humidity this summer. This will be the first summer that I no longer straighten my bangs, have my lessons from nc.com and have CK !!

Not straightening my bangs alone will be a huge stress reliever !!!
Type: 3a fine & dense, with normal porosity, terrible product junkie
ROUTINE: LI, enhancer, gel, plop with Curlease towel, serum product (either CIAB or Gel-les'c), clip & diffuse.
Too many favourite products to list ... I finally have my routine that works and alot of products to choose from. My product stash is huge, but well loved !!!
PS I got pretty great almost-productless hair today.

(used only TIGIMM and SiF)

Ooooh, you are SO lucky! What I wouldn't give to be able to go productless!

My hair LOVES humidity! So much more curl!

Yep, this time and the fall are the best times for my hair. Like FrizzBGone, I'm enjoying the nice low humidity weather before summer strikes. My hair definitely curls more with humidity but it also frizzes and poofs more. I never was able to achieve really good summer hair last year so I'm hoping this year will be better with different products and new methods. We'll see.
ETA: Btw, your hair is absolutely gorgeous! I could never go productless!
3b/c fine, thick, porous, protein sensitive
Modified CG, CJ Rehab, JCWDT, KCKT, VO5 Chamomile Tea Therapy, CJDF, HEBE Gel/Mousse, Bioinfusion Rosemary Mint shampoo, occasional protein

Wow. I wish my hair looked that good with product! Serious hair envy (as I sit here plopping with baby diapers on my head).

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

It held up alright. I was in a hot stuffy kitchen for most of the morning, and in a crowded room for the afternoon, and just did some heavy lifting and sprinting about half an hour ago. Definitely frizzy, but definitely not bad. I could seriously make a habit out of this.

For anyone who's interested, I left in a considerable amount of TIGIMM, did a lot of raking and scrunching and smoothing (trying to define curls manually), then added about 8-10 sprays of Set it Free (both directly into my hair and scrunched into my ends). I dried it as quickly as possible by sitting in front of a low-power fan.

Please, send some humidity Utah's way. I think it'd be most excellent if the summer level could be 50 versus half that. *pout*
Wow mysteryflavored, that is some fantastic almost-productless hair! The thing for me is that my productless hair looks great to start but the curls end up getting ill-defined and poufy by the evening. Lately I've been using just some SheaM and a smidge of cheapie Condition 3-in-1 Mousse and it's been working great! I love that I don't have to do much at all and can return to my warmer-weather routine.

Unbelievably gorgeous hair, mysteryflavored! I can't get that kind of definition or shine in any weather, even with product. The hair gods have definitely smiled on you.
