ACV Rinse?

What is an ACV rinse and how is it done? Thanks!
hi sandrea, i tried the ACV rinse for the first time last friday, and did it like this; co washed my hair, rinsed out, then put in conditioner to condition the length, clipped my hair up, took a plastic cup, put in 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and filled up the rest of the cup with cold water. took out my clip, and poured the acv mix over my head while massaging my ends and scalp with one hand. when i finished the mix, i rinsed again with cold water only. after all this i put in a leave in and styled as usual. result; great curly, and shiny hair

I mix some ACV with warm water in an old conditioner bottle. I squirt this mixture over my hair/scalp as a final rinse (after cowashing or conditioning). Let the mixture sit a minute, massage scalp, then rinse it out briefly. Follow up with leave-in or stylers as normal.

I do this at least once a week, usually after my weekly shampoo. It leaves my hair shiny and my scalp feeling "refreshed".

Cool. My next venture was going to be the brown sugar, too. I think my hair may be trying to get over years of shampooing, but I just have no patience and want to see a difference NOW :-p

I had to start doing the ACV rinse in between shampooing and conditioning. My DH & DS
swore they could smell the ACV in my hair. It seems to work OK that way also.

Loving natural products. Some of my favorites are:
MHC Scalp Cleanser, Donna Marie Miracurl Gelly, Robert Craig Conditioner
I just did it for the first time the other day and it worked well [url=http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/showthread.php?t=43599(see here)[/url]. I shampooed then poured a little at a time and let it sit for a minute or two while I washed the rest of me. Then I rinsed out, but didn't condition or style as I was going to bed and wanted my hair to dry quickly. I wish I would have thought to use warm water LOL.

I used regular vinegar and after my morning ritual I couldn't smell it at all.

It made my scalp itchy that night though.

I do the brown sugar a lot. Makes me feel cleaner than just doing the co-washing.
i was afraid i would be able to smell the vinegar too after washing my hair with it, that's why i rinsed again with only cold water after rinsing with the vinegar.
