How about a product courtesan? That sounds more genteel.

Although it may be true to say that we are more like John's often paying for a one night stand (or maybe a few nights), just to ditch it for something more attractive....

I prefer to think that I am more of a King with a slew of concubines! I may not stick with just one, but my relationship is more long term, just depends on my mood!

Oh man that's funny! I like the courtesan idea. They were typically in charge of their own 'clients'.
