I am a product "Lady of the Evening!"
Not sure how salty the language can be, so I played it safe. I'm feeling very fickle. Been using the Bioterra Curl Creme and liking it a lot. Yesterday was not quite as good. So today, I tried the KCCC I received in a swap. I have a new love! Who will, of course, desert me by the weekend. I did a few things differently today, because I had to be somewhere by 7:30. I used my new radiant heat dryer, for the second time. I plopped for about 5 minutes with a mf towel (which I don't generally do.) And KCCC. My growing out bangs are in spirals over my eyes. I have curls to my roots--even more than the Biroterra. My hair is soft, but I do have a little surface frizz. I can't seem to keep my hands off.
When he saw me start to diffuse, even DH remarked that it was going to be a good curl day!
I'd post pictures, but I can't figure out how to do that.

Hey, I think we all run a little fast and loose with products. There's a definite "What have you done for me lately?" attitude that develops after a while. If a product fails to perform one day, we do what comes naturally -- replace him -- I mean "it" -- with something that does (or seems likely to. A girl's gotta look out for her curls, you know? Hearts may be broken in the process.

Hearts may be broken in the process. (quotes not working!)
But why oh why is it always mine?

Strumpet
Personally, I have always been fond of the Elizabethan term "strumpet" -- a product strumpet....
And aren't we all product strumpets??? I honestly think that even if I found my HG, I would still wonder if some other magical elixir would be even better.

Strumpet--it's perfect. I spent all day trying to think of a word to use! It's not the obsession that's so bad, it's the guilt I feel for abandoning the product I loved three days ago!

Funny thing...a coworker and I were harassing our boss (male) about hording files. We called him a file wh*re. His reply? "Wh*re nothing! I do it for free! I'm a file sl*t!"
Guess I'm a product sl*t. Or maybe a pimp...I do pay for the product, after all!

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.
No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

Haven't we already had this discussion? It seems somehow familiar...our secret lives. And you talking your neighbor into dying her hair so you could take the bad picture for your avatar. That we're all just psycho, bald, fat men who have a secret obsession with curly hair?
Since I'm an old, bald, psycho fat man...Talking is all I can do! Ha!

Stop admitting it. It is ruining the moment. I'm just going to go have a conversation with my Biotera Gel now. It always says what I want to hear.
I would invite AOHR too, but I don't like her perfume.

I name my hair products and have an emotional attachment to them. I feel sad when my product runs out.
Of course, I name nearly everything, but still, I love my hair stuff. Including barettes, hair-ties, flexi-8 (must get another), clips, and headbands. And my secret love, hairspray. It's my hair crack. What's yours?

Wait, you remember your first? Oh, geez...I think I've had way too many in my life. I can't even count them. Time for counseling.

I hear ya -- I usually have great results with FSG and a little KCCC. Well of course today is my hospital volunteer day and after diffused, looked like curly noodles. So I ran some AO manarin jelly through it and blew it out on high/cool without diffuser to get some of the noodles loose -- forget about it -- nothing worked -- wore it like it was and got many compliments anyway -- maybe we are just never happy LOL!!! On to continue searching for the HG that will work on demand!!!!

Hee hee, I missed this thread the first time around. Very funny, Kathymack!
All I can picture is Bill Murray in "Tootsie," saying, "You slut!" (oops, can I say that? I'm only quoting!!!) But I prefer the term "strumpet." Product Strumpet. Trips off the tongue nicely, doesn't it?
I don't think the rules of monogamy apply to hair products. At least, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Isn't that just the truth. We are our hardest critics. I have hair days where I would love to be able to find that ponytail holder that I know was in the bottom of my purse, and everyone tells me how great my hair looks. Go figure.
