And we'll spin until we're dizzy
If our curls just won't be frizzy.

add me too, I thought my hair was damaged but looks like now I just wasnt treating it right, I got alot cut off and it looks like a mullit because the shorter sides hit my shoulders and really draw up ugh...I have been threw this in the past and she thinned my hair also with the shears. I will never learn lol, I hope I will now.

I wish come here first, I found this site a long time ago but didnt really spend alot of time here because it seemed confusing, now I understand, makes me wish I had this in my teen years when I used vasoline because the VO5 styling tube stuff felt the same.

anyways I am glad to have found this and now that I am also a PJ, I went crazy and bought everything I heard sounded good over the last couple of months

And here is the song we're dancing to:

No, no..we want to dance them on.
Right! We're dancing our curls long!
Long, curls, long.
And we'll spin until we're dizzy,
If our curls just won't be frizzy.
Spin, girls, spin.
Some will shake their rump,
Just to see their curls clump.
Clump, curls, clump.
And some will shake their heinie,
To make their curls more shiny.
Shake, girls, shake.

Now we need a chorus.

Best thread ever!!

I am trying to grow out my hair from a short haircut at Christmas -- so far so good, but I wish I wouldn't have had it cut at all -- My hair probably would have been about 25" or so.... *cry*....it'll grow though. Thanks for posting this thread!! I'm definitely not getting my hair cut again anytime soon.

Are we doing the measure thing? If so, I need someone to 'splain me' because I never understood how to do it. Thanks

And, I can't wait to hear how the music for our song comes out!

Count me in, too!

Mine was cut to about 2.5" long on top and 1" in the back in February because it was so thin and damaged. It looked good for about 2 weeks but now I'm constantly fighting the curly helmet look. Now that it's thickening back up some I'm kicking myself for going so short.

Dance like you mean it, girls! We need all good growth vibes we can get.

Then you need to give it some rating stars!

I don't know how to do the measure thing either. We can, if someone explains it to us.

I'll join — what a great thread!

My hair was almost BSL a coupel years back, then I had a fair amount trimmed off to get rid of some color damage. That brought it to just above shoulder length.

I think I'm about halfway back to BSL at this point. I'm not even sure if BSL is my goal. My hair never would grow very long at all before I started treating it right, so it's kind of weird to even have the option to grow it really long. I'll get it to BSL and then see if I want to go longer.

I was taking the GNC vitamins and I really think it was helping, but I ran out. I'll try to pick up some more this week.

And I think this might be a myth, but I swear my hair grows faster in the summertime, so I'm looking forward to that.

I have to grow out peroxide. It is going to take years. I have about 1.5" of no peroxide right now, and the rest of the way to BSL is peroxide city.

I am dancing...

I also had the haircut from hell in 2006...because of the way it was cut, I have to continue to cut the ends until all the damaged parts finish growing. I also have about 4 to 6 inches of hair, but when it is dry, of course it seems shorter.

What type of bad haircut did you get? The butcher used a razor and thinning shears on my hair. I guess I had too much hair for liking.
