I am dancing...

I also had the haircut from hell in 2006...because of the way it was cut, I have to continue to cut the ends until all the damaged parts finish growing. I also have about 4 to 6 inches of hair, but when it is dry, of course it seems shorter.

What type of bad haircut did you get? The butcher used a razor and thinning shears on my hair. I guess I had too much hair for liking.
I am so sorry you went through that, it is so disheartening when that happens!

The "stylist", I use that term loosely, took thinning shears, and just kind of picked up a chunk of hair and chopped away, all the way around my head. Then the razor came out and it was razored around the sides, and in the front, I look like I have a half mullet...ugh! But I see the new growth coming in and that looks so much thicker and healthier. Although, finding out through trial and much error, I am protein sensitive, so now it limits what I can use on my hair, so I am careful.

Still dancing here, and doin it in my sleep too!!!

it's amazing that I used to willingly go to get my hair thinned out back in the day. I just thought it was too much to deal with, but I also wasn't wearing it wild and curly either. I was at 26 1/2 when wet and stretched back in March and now I am at 27. My hair is growing pretty quickly so I am definitely doing the dance!

Back on Cones,so now my routine is,wash with Deva No-Poo every other day or so. Occasionally use 365 sulfate free, maybe use low sulfate shampoo mixed with conditioner once every two weeks are longer. I condition with Aussie Moist or HEHH. I style with a little GF TN,and finish up with tons of GN Pure Clean Smoothing Cream. No frizz...slippy, happy hair.

Oh man, I feel for you!

My hair is maybe an inch longer than that in the back, and straight....ugh.

More and more dancing here! Trying to figure out how to get the globby dancers!

I am growing my hair out too!! I just got a haircut yesterday to shape it and make it symmetrical so that I won't be tempted to cut it myself and "fix it" in the bathroom like I always do.

My goal is to go 4 months without cutting it at all - not even a tiny snip. for me this will be a HUGE acheivement because I am always snipping at my hair. but I am taking a vow of scissor abstinence! no more self-cutting!! on august 30 I will get it trimmed and shaped again and then let it grow some more. sounds like a plan, don't let me deviate! BSL is my goal - right now it's at my shoulders.

Add me too!! I'm at shoulder length right now and wanting about BSL. I'm throwing in an extra dance that the JASON thin to thick shampoo will also work and fill in those thing spots, along with the Nu-Hair vitamins something's gotta work.

Nope - my hair is not down to my knees yet.

I want to try the Hair nourish vitamins again but need to wait until I know that my face routine is all OK.

I had started the vitamins when I changed face stuff - broke out horrible - stopped taking the vitamins (I have read that biotin can make you break out) and am now working on the facial products but I don't want to throw something into the mix where I wont be able to tell what caused it....so long story longer - I have to wait to start taking those and I do feel they do help (I took them last spring).

Oh you are too sweet! Thanks for the compliment!

We shall send you the not joining the growing hair dance club wishes. I dont think we have smilies that do that kind of dance.

I'm in! My hair was just above the shoulders this morning, but my Deva stylist got a little too excited today and took my hair up to my chin. The style was incredible, minus the length... Hopefully it will at least allow me to grow out my hair without major style issues?! I'm still sensitive about it, fighting back the tears of frustration, and trying to have a positive outlook...
With that said.... I'm in and dancing full speed.
Cheers to no scissors and much needed support.
