How is it going everyone??
I have probably grown 1/2 inch (maybe more) but my hair seems to grow really fast when it's short (maybe I just notice it more) and then once it reaches a certain point realllly slows down. I just want it back to my shoulders!!! And I want the back to grow to cover up my scarily long hair line - that's creepy!

I've been tempted to get a trim...my ends look pretty dry sometimes. Good thing I don't have the money to spend on a haircut, otherwise I probably would've done so by now.
My hair is starting to brush my shoulders now. Must grow hair long enough to put in a ponytail!

Mine is definitely longer - I would almost say the longest bits are shoulder length. I almost caved and get a cut earlier this month because it is looking shaggy, but I held out (because really it looks fine to all the world but me).
Keep growing

I've become quite preoccupied with getting my hair long lately. After my last (wonderful) cut, it still feels so much shorter. I know not too much was taken, and anything that was trimmed and evened out really needed to be done, but the shrinkage still leaves me feeling like I miss the rest, if that makes any sense at all... I'm horrible at officially measuring, but, right now I'm back to above bsl (just below my armpits mostly when I cheat and stretch it out). I never really did scalp massages before, but have started to do so with various oils at night, and use camellia oil often as a leave-in during the day....we'll see if the massage factor works-feels good, if nothing else, lol!

Has anyone tryed growing hair longer and thicker according to the moon phases? (like this website: http://lunatips.net/default.aspx)
I think it sounds very interesting but I want to know if people have had much success on it.
Also have any of you had success with coconut oil? I have been massaging it inot my scalp for a few days so far so I havent noticed any length but I definatly have noticed my hair is very soft at the roots.

I just started using unrefined coconut oil every night-scalp massage, whole length of hair, then I put it up and my hair is much softer after I cleanse (yes, I'm one of those that likes to wash or co wash daily). I also use the camellia oil as my leave-in (just a few drops), and now my homemade flaxseed gel to which I've added a bit of both oils and aloe-I've discovered since henna my hair can't get enough of this stuff-needs moisture in amazing amounts right now. From what I've read, my hair will probably need less and less as time goes by...I think this will help protect the length and aid in growth *fingers crossed*. I wish I knew the benefits of light oils years ago...
