Default Glycerin and fading

Does anyone have any theories as to why glycerin fades (artificial) hair color?

I didn't know that it does. I use Oyin Juice & Berries, which contains glycerin all the time, plus other products that have it and I haven't noticed fading. I even color my hair red which fades the easiest.

I do notice that honey fades my color, so I avoid products with honey.

I don't know, but after trial and error, I do avoid it in the first week post color, and then use it over a leave-in after that.

Really ScarrieCarrie? Aww so I guess no Oyin HH Co for me this summer RCC, I colored my hair last Thursday and I've been using re:coil up until today. Oops! Didn't notice any fading though. Phew!

No proof, but I think it is less noticeable with a styler than with a conditioner.

Ooooooh okay. Especially with a leave-in, I'd imagine.

Default Any fade-resistant (artificial) hair color??

I've noticed that the hair color around my forehead fades quickly and I've determined that its the glycerin in my face lotions and cleansers. I'd like to find a hair color that's resistant to the fading-nature of glycerin. Any suggestions?
