I wore my hair up in a frenchtwist and left the shorter layer down in the back (growing out a bob -- odd shape in the back) and had awesome ringlets!! A lady at work told me that I should cut my hair really short and scrunch it because I'd look cute with a headful of ringlets. huh???

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.
she's a dork.

Maybe she meant it in a good way? Like (dorky yes) but as a compliment? Pretty curls and all.

I really get tired of people who feel that it is not only okay to dish out unsolicited advice but that they are qualified in some way to do so.

She sounds like someone who has a compulsive need to fill up silence with words, no matter how inane those words are.

Same person who brags about spending only $3 or $4 every 6 weeks on drugstore color. You can get some good deals but when the result is brassy yellowish hair....
