Default All I can say is WOW!

What transformations everyone has had. I'm curious as to how many are just using the products and methods to take care of the hair and how many have had Devacut as well. If you've had the cut, would you do it again?

You all have done a complete 360 with your hair! I feel like my hair can never do what yours have done. This is almost a week of CG, but so far nothing! My scalp is DEFINITELY loving CG, and my hair is softer, but as far as curly styling...nothing.

I KNOW I'm asking for a lot in less than a week...but I want gorgeous curls!

Give it some time, and you'll see. It took me a month to see results, and I wasn't going through a transition. You may take a bit longer since you're transitioning a TR.

I've been meaning to make some sort of Timeline of my hair since I was born. I finally gathered up the pics and put them in my fotki. Here's the link

I love all your pics! You can totally tell the difference! I'm so happy of having found CG because it's changed the quality of my hair and the texture of it, it looks more like it used to when I was a kid.

Someone requested my "before" pictures in the thread I posted about my hair type, so here they are!

These were all taken on the same day of May 2007 in different lighting and with different cameras.

Before:

I'm the red poof (obviously).

The sad part is that I used to pull my hair back when it was wet to get that flat top on purpose.

After 1.5 months CG (I should take new pictures):

Sarah!! Your hair is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Really, really beautiful and healthy looking.

Are the products in your sig current? If so, I think it is fantastic that you are getting such amazing hair and you aren't breaking the bank to do it.

After Cut Before Cut
I recently got a curly girl haircut, but I don't think the stylist was trained well. I ended up paying a regular stylist to even out the bottom of my hair for me. I am trying to go CG, but I am not sure about what products to use. I need products that are inexpensive and products I don't have to order. I am going to try Suave co wash and Nourish Conditioner for a leave in. I am not sure what styling product to use. I don't do well with gels. Any info would be great.

Love that timeline you did Jorgelina, and your curls look lovely now, I'm always jealous of shine.

Well here are a few pics of my curly journey!

I was a curlie in denial and straightened everyday for over 10 years...

Then I started to wonder what my natural curls looked like. So I stopped straightening, but this is what I looked like...

not really much curl there.

So here I am after CG!

ohhh, pretty

EXTREME example of my icky curly hair before CG. Granted, it didn't NORMALLY look quite this bad, but this was a very very bad hair day lol

And after CG: (sorry, this is the most recent one I have but it was taken on a cell phone...)

Believe it or not, that's the same haircut... lol
