I love these. Everybody looks so good, and it's nice to see pics from some that I don't see pics of very often.

At least you guys always had some kinda curls. Look at my before! It's just hanging there all fuzzy and crinkly.

Pffff, you call the hair in MY before picture curls? Nope! definitely waves...I couldn't believe it had gotten to that point...my hair was MUCH curlier when I was in high school!
If I had a picture on this computer, I would show you, but I don't. =/

Lol, your before isn't that bad, but you did have a big change in texture! It was neat watching the pattern in your second pic.
I don't see any curls in my before - just Frizz-Ease coated stuff that is neither a wave nor a curl, and not in a good way, lol.
Interesting, none of the befores look bad, but it does show that some of us never really see our curl potential until we change our routines around.

Exactly! I think so many curlies think that what they have is as good as it's ever going to get, so they just accept the status quo. I know that's how I was. My hair was frizzy and poofy and I hated it, but I figured that's just how my hair was. And in pictures it didn't even look so bad.
Interestingly, I discovered this week when I found some old containers of them, that the combination that had given me the best "pre-CG" hair and that I really liked before finding this site was...silicone free. Imagine that.

Uh .. did you see mine? A big pouf with no curl.
It's really cool to see what CG can do for some people. Always knew I couldn't stand the pouf but had no idea i had this much curl lurking in the shadows of sulfates and 'cones.

But whatsercurl, your before pic is so tiny! OK I guess you can be in the "What were we thinking" club. SoaringSiren can't, because while her hair got way cuter after CG, it was already cute before.

Sure, if you call incredibly crunchy cute!! Maybe you're just looking at my face more than my hair. My face IS pretty gorgeous!
...And now I've met my vain quota for today.

Well for me it is: NO SHAMPOO! No Silicones ('cones or 'xanes), no brushing..Ever!, lots of condish. A good basic CG method
I knew there was a difference, but until I found these before pics I didn't realize how much of a difference.
