Draakje - your cut, curls and color are gorgeous.

All these inverted bob cuts are really making me think twice about growing mine out.

Its not inversed anymore. It looks that way because you can see the shortest layers in the back and not on the sides or the longer layers in the back.

The inversed cut was nice, but I am glad it's gone now. I don't know, it doesn't look nice in a ponytail, clipped back, with a headband or anything else but the way it is. To boring for me

But thanks

Red face Hi there

I wanna ask a follow up to shawneebecool's question up there: how damaged was your hair before going cg? Sometimes I can't tell if the hair in the before picture is damage or just bad frizzies.
I got a hypothesis going that the more damaged your hair is before going cg, the longer it takes to get the lovely results seen in the thread.

My hair was both damaged (brushed out 2 year old dreads, yep) as well as very coarse. Combine that with trying to enhance the little curl you have with like 5 sillicone loaded products and a diffuser a day and you get my before picture.

My hair is still coarse, but not showing as much as it's conditioned like it should.

The last collage I posted was 3 months into cg, but it already looked 1000x better on day one, see a couple of pages back.

i started cg like last wensday and my hair isnt looking any better, esp not compared to how much better everyone elses looked
i shower everyday heres my routine-

i cowash with suave naturals
condish w/ sunsilk captivating curls
then once i get out, i dont squeeze my hair or anything i spray in aussie leave in conditoner&smoothing spray and garnier anti-humdity&shine w/ strong hold, and scrunch it or w/e with a t-shirt to get the water out

am i doing it right or do my products have silicones in it that are just making the no shampoo thing worthless? help!

I thought the entire line of SunSilk was full of cones.. but don't quote me... do a search in the Product Review section.
And it's only been a few days... give it a chance.

Ok, so I was directed here to show my before and after pics of my hair.

Before CG:

I used to use Pantene for curly hair, leave in spray and blew my hair dry. It was always a dry, frizzy, dull mess.

After 6 weeks of mod CG:

What a difference CG really makes. My hair tollerates a little bit of 'cones and I diffuse. I haven't had a sulfate wash in a month and I am loving the difference in my hair.
