solid girl you hair is gorgeous. I love it !
The first 2 are "before" (also with longer hair, no layers, and winter air); the next 3 are "afters" (2 with spring/summer air; 1 in winter).

I look a little older in the "afters".... but I think I see some hair improvement.

I've been wanting to jump into this for awhile, but still fuzzy on various photo-related technologies... here's an attempt. The first 2 are "before" (also with longer hair, no layers, and winter air); the next 3 are "afters" (2 with spring/summer air; 1 in winter).

Dailywavy - you look so great in your "afters " too! You look younger too!

I'm a firm believer that curly/wavy hair makes everyone look younger than straight hair!!

@KKurls: Wow! Your "after" hair is gorgeous! What is your routine?

@dailywavy: That day, I washed with Jessicurl HCC with a teeny bit of GLS, conditioned with Jessicurl Too Shea, then got out of the shower, shook some of the water out of my hair, scrunched in Living Proof Wave Shaping Curl Defining Treatment for Thick/Coarse Hair (for the first time!), plopped while I dressed, then added a teeny bit of HETT gel, air dried for a few minutes, then diffused. The dew point was 67 and it was 95 degrees that day and very humid, so my curls were tighter than normal, but they were super soft and well-defined thanks to the Living Proof. It seriously was the best hair day of my life. I haven't been able to replicate the results exactly--I think the dew point/temp/humidity had a lot to do with it, but I'm going to try doing that routine a few times in a row to see how it goes. Do you use a curl enhancer? I find that I get curlier hair with a curl enhancer and gel for hold. If I just wash and condition and gel, I get waves.

I have been co-washing only for the 3 weeks...starting with Tigi BedHead Moisture Maniac and for the last couple washes Wen Sweet Almond mint cleansing conditioner (the pic is after Wen). Of course I just discovered the Wen does have a silicone in it - DOH! Am I a CG failure already??

I "plop" in my husbands t-shirts and just use the Aussie Opposites attract spray gel because I hate crunchy!

This might be a little soon to be shouting "transformation," but I already see a ton of improvement.
This is a picture from day 4 CG and my hair is looking a bit *Good-Ship-Lollipop-esque*, which is how it was when I was a kid (No idea what "curl-type" it is, though!):

Hosted on Fotki

I'm still hoping the frizz declines and the curls become a bit more defined....and I'm optimistic, since this is only day 4!
