Very pretty!

Ah all of these pictures are so inspiring!! I'm totes ready to give the CG method another go (:

Right now my hair is long and disgusto. I started relaxing (it's not even straight, though. Still takes me an hour to flat iron my whole head but okayy..) a little over a year ago and now want to grow it out nice and curly. I figure my "relaxed" hair is still super curly so hopefully trying the CG treatment will work for me.

Getting many many inches chopped off on Tuesday by a new stylist who is supposed to be good with curly hair. I'm really sick of the constant straightening. I'd much rather embrace my curly hair Eeek I really hope this works; thanks for the encouragement, everyone!

What my hair looks like now; a big, thick, long, frizzy mess!

Wow what amazing improvements on everyone! I'm inspired. I want to cut about ten inches off my hair, but have tentatively set it for January since i'm so flip-floppy on the idea. I think i'll give CG a shot, but i'm so lazy. I don't have a lot of time in the morning. I want shorter hair so i can just gel it and be done with it. I have a nasty canopy and i feel the length is weighing done the curl. Of course, everyone on here who has short curly hair looks great. A friend with similar hair to mine is telling me not to do it because she cut it once and had a 'fro. I had short hair before and it was fine...but i love the long curls too, when it cooperates. Sigh all this hair tangles so easy because in my laziness i have it in a ponytail all the time. i don't like it in my face.

Anyway, you girls all look so great! Glad to see you are getting good results. I'll look into this.

I, for one, think the 'fro is a totally awesome look, especially when rocked with confidence. It's nothing to be afraid of!

Thanks! All the transformations on this thread are so inspiring! NC.com forums are awesome aren't they? I've learned so much from all the curl mentors here.

I noticed in your last sentence you stated, "Sorry for the mistakes in English. This is not my main language. I'm still learning!" For someone who's native or main language is not English, you write very well. Keep it up. You've pretty much got it. If I may, even better than some people whose native or main language is English.

1st two are from the first day, last 3 are from today and a few days ago. Today I finally got great curls in the back which is usually flat, by plopping; but the front was okay. No plop = great front okay flattish back...but still better than it was.

eta: this thread is what prompted me to go cg so it's always worth a bump.
