Mallory! I love your style -- like your overall style, not just your hairstyle! That cut and your curls look fabulous on you.

Your hair is incredible. Yay for you!

Just tonight I was looking through some pictures to see how my hair has progressed, and let me tell you, I have come a long long way in the past three years when I started doing a very modified version of CG. I thought I'd post the results so people could know that it does take some practice to be happy with your hair (which I am right now, for the most part, when it behaves ).

This is pre-any conceived notion that my hair could be even remotely pretty when wavy, thus it is blow-dried and straightened:

The first is my hair in it's natural state:

This is a good hair day prior to going CG:

This is a good hair day doing mod-CG:

This is a good hair day after going completely CG and starting to use natural products (FSG):

This is recent and one of the best hair days I have ever had:

And that is where I am currently! My products have changed vastly now, going from just conditioner, gel and scrunching, to conditioner, FSG, gel and scrunching, to finally using all the products that everyone loves (KCCC, DoC, CCCC, BRHG) because I am more familiar with my hair and now I know what it needs to look good! I love it!
Totally agree, you have THE best hair. The color , the cut, EVERYTHING about it. And wow do you wear bangs well. Makes me want to cut mine.

Wavy - Thank you! I think one of my favorite things about my hair besides it being wavy is my straight, blunt bangs. Plus, if I get bored with them, I can always wait a few weeks and side-sweep them. This small change helps me to stay on track with my hair growing plan, rather than get stir crazy and cut it short, only to regret it later!

Kayaelle - Thanks so much! I had no idea not only my hair cut, but my style would go over so well on here!

Ok, sorry about my earlier pictures guys. I meant to post those in a different forum. The first one is of my hair "straightened". Though my hair has gotten curlier with cg, it hasnt been quite that dramatic!

Default Wow!

I just finished going through this whole thread, and I can't even begin to say how beautiful you all are. I am so inspired! I have been straightening my hair for five years (to its dismay) and tomorrow, I am heading straight to the store to get new supplies. So expect a picture! All of your advice has been wonderful.

I am a 3a, about two inches below SL, brunette. I hope my hair turns out half as good as all of yours! Keep shining!

Rach

Default OK!

After straightening my hair for five years, I am finally willing to embrace my curls. I started CG today, and already have noticed an improvement! My curl formation isn't much different (but it is piece-y-er, which I like) but the best part? NO. FRIZZ. At all! Usually the back is a hot mess that I can't do anything about ... but not anymore. I cannot wait to see how this pans out over more use!

Happy!:

And a better image of my actual hair colour:

Thanks to everyone for their advice, you are all raging beauties with great heads of hair. I am so glad I know what to do with it now!

Rachel

Wow...I love your hair! The curl, the color-and you're incredibly cute to boot. I can't believe those curls were hiding that well!

Total hair envy right here...you are SO going on the lists of folks I want to trade hair with!
