Everyone looks so good! I'm jealous Esp. of Racerwife's 2nd day hair
My pre-CG pic is my AV, and its from 2006. Here it is full sized.

I like the length I had, but not the frizz/flyaway look. No definition to my curls back then.
Here I am now, after about 3 years CG. I took these last month.
Curly close up:
And from the back:

And overall:

Huge pics, sorry. :/
I agree, this should definitely be a sticky.. if nothing else, to show what dedication and hard work can get you!
before CG:
(PLEASE, PLEASE excuse the dramatic makeup, these are shots from a project I was doing with a makeup artist.)
Natural:
Straightened:
After 5.5 months of CG:
(Ok, now you're going to have to excuse the utter LACK of makeup. Ha. I just can't get myself together. )
Back of my head:
Kinda dark, but you can see the root curl I'm starting to get a TON of.. (IN
LATE OCTOBER WITH LOW DEWS??!!)

lol thanks Medusa! When I first started on the CG bandwagon, I thought I was going to just get rid of a little frizz. I didn't know I had "curly" hair. Ha. I know different now.

Dandy- Thanks! My eyelashes used to bother me when I was younger and wore glasses. I actually used to cut them down because they scraped the inside of the glasses lenses. When my mother found out I was chopping them off, she pretty much dragged me to get contacts.
plunkybug- Yep, the goth shot was part of a project I was a part of.. it's the sort of thing that happens to you when you hang out with too many makeup artists at once. Thanks!

Musical I agree your hair has transformed! I found the same thing happened, since becoming modified CG my hair has become at least twice as curly and much better looking overall.
I was actually complaining about my hair the other day, saying i needed a trim and this lady at work who i know but dont' really talk to on the reg, said, "oh Michelle, your hair always looks amazing, hush"

Wow fraggle, your hair looks awesome! And so thick!! That's one thing I wish I could change about my hair, it's just so thin. You're lucky!

This is my first post. I found this site 2 months ago and decided to try CG. I wish I had found this years ago!
As a child I had beautiful curls that went away when I became a teen. They were replaced with some curls, some waves and a whole bunch of frizzy poof that like to shape itself in a pyramid, ick.
Thank you for helping me find my curls again!
Here is my before on very rare, excellent hair day
Here is 2 months CG and 2nd day hair

Tagcurls, I can't see your pictures, but if that's your hair in your user icon, then your hair is really beautiful!

Thank you so much.
I'm not sure why they didn't show for you, musical. Here are the links to the pictures: http://tamoradolls.com/images/curlsprecg.jpg and http://tamoradolls.com/images/curls02.jpg
It's been such a huge difference in so short a time. I'm so happy to be able to wear my hair down and I love that my hair looks the same at the end of the day as it does in the morning. I can't wait to see how it looks in another couple of months!

My before and after
First Pic is One Week CG (Very Dry, Wiry, 24 years of blowdrying straight, Keratin Straightening one year ago trying to grow it out).
Second Pic is 2.5 months CG. Got a Devacut also. Still have some ends with the straightening but overall better curl formation and less dryness/frizz.

Maripili, I would kill for your tight curl pattern! And your hair looks so much healthier after only a couple of months. I can just imagine how stunning you will be when all of the damage and straightening is grown out!!

Thanks Rustina! I'm still struggling with dryness and frizz, but I've commited to stop shampooing altogether now (until I really get build up) so hopefully I'll have less dryness and frizziness in the next couple of months to the new year! Doing alot of deep treatments and even got a hair steamer! Wish me luck!
