I've only really CG'd officially 3 times. I hate washing my hair so I typically just have it pulled up.
Few years ago- this was a good hair night.
Plopped then diffused cause I had a bon fire to go to in 40 degree weather.
Oh and if anyone has any ideas about my curl type!!
I thought I was just wavy but I'm not sure anymore!!

First off, I definitely think you should forget about wearing your hair up all the time - it's way too pretty not to be seen! I know the grass is always greener, yadda yadda yadda - but I would happily trade heads with so many of you guys!
As far as curl pattern, I don't know how much help I'll be, since I'm not really sure of my own. But I can see where you're not sure about being wavy - looks to me like there are some definite spirals waiting to come out in that hair!

I come on here when I want hair advice because if you type in "curly hair" anywhere, all you get is advice on how to curl it. I used to get on here a lot when I was like, 12 or 13 (and first figuring out how to stop straightening my hair without being bullied), so if you happen to see some older posts of mine, shh. No judging.

Thank you! I think as my hair and I stop fighting so much I'll start wearing it down more, except at work, I don't need the little puppies and kittens playing with my hair!

Isn't it great not to be fighting so much with your hair anymore? Like, instead of being all, "I HATE YOU!" to my hair, now I'm all, "You are a mystery wrapped in a conundrum, and I WILL figure you out!!" Even though I'm far from having all the answers, it's a nice shift.
Jelly, the difference in that one photo where you can see the edge of your glasses and the one in your avatar is amazing! Wow, the curls are really popping out!
And nezumikiriq, you are so cute! I remember reading your other thread, and while I do think you look cute with straight or curly hair, there's just something about your curls that gives you so much personality. I hope you don't give them up! I'm 43 years old, and have been fighting with my hair my whole life, and I *wish* I had known at your age what I know now about taking care of my hair.

So incredibly beautiful. What did you do/use the day the second pic was taken?

Before:

After:
I don't think I've really found the right products yet (I'm too lazy to try zillions of things out) but there's still a huge difference. Pics aren't the best either.
Any idea what curl type I am??
(sorry if the pictures are huge - I resized them on photobucket but they're being stupid.)

I just CGd for the first time this afternoon, while at my aunt's house for thanksgiving (not sure what really inspired me...) Has anyone else used slightly diluted aloe vera gel as a conditioner?
Already I can see a difference! I'm so absurdly excited!
