^Your hair is sooooo pretty! It's kinda hard to tell what your hair type is but it looks like a 2c-3a. maybe?

I have been co-washing for 9 days. A year ago I cut all my hair off because it was just a damaged mess, and I decided to stop trying to recreate my teen years of amazing long curly hair and get an adult cut. I loved it for a while, then one day decided I was sick of it. It was dry, fried, I had a 'flat iron mohawk' of broken hair that stood on end on top of my head. I let it grow to my chin, then cut it all off again a little over a month ago. Major mistake. So I started obsessively googling hair growth and came across this site. After looking at all the before and after photos, I stopped using my shampoo that night.
The pixie cut is from January 2011, the bright curly shot is from 1 week ago after 2 days of cg, and the pic with purple tank straps is now- 9 days in. I hope at some point to have the long luscious curls you all have.
I think I am a 3a, not sure of porosity or density but its thin and I have a lot of it.
Thanks for the inspiration!!

Hello!!
I'm from Spain and I discovered the CG method and this thread two months ago. I used to hate my curls but when I saw all your transformations... wow!!! I decided to try it.
My before picture is 2 months ago and the after one is yesterday, 2 months into CG.
P.S.: I'm sorry if there is any mistake, I'm still learning English.

I'm starting CG, and I just got my hair cut! Here's some before pictures:

When it was longer (this was actually about two or three years ago, when I still had braces, but this is the best picture that shows how messed up my hair texture gets when I grow it )

This was the best hairday I had recently with my bob growing out, but it was still frizzy and annoying.
After my first wash and getting my bob back:
So it may not look like much, you can still see some frizz, but it was pouring today, and I had to run in the rain for an hour in PE, plus I was touching it all day. When my hair was longer, it would frizz as soon as I got out of the shower, and I couldn't touch it at all. I didn't use shampoos, but I realized that some of my products still had silicones and alcohol and things that were drying out my hair. Since this was just my first day, too, I'm sure it'll improve even more. I'm so happy and excited to see how CG affects my hair! A few days ago I had such a bad self-esteem with hating the frizz of my hair, and today I just felt so confident. I hope it continues to improve in the months ahead!

Everyone's hair looks so great~!
I'm about 1 and a half years into the CG method. Here's my before and after.
Pre-CG, right after I cut out the straightener
About 2 months into CG
And today~! It was raining so my hair is a little frizzy and my ends are still wet from walking in said rain

The first picture is from almost a year ago, pre-CG. The second and third pics are from yesterday, after eight months of committed CG. Definitely still experimenting and figuring stuff out, but my hair is much happier.
