nonchalance, what are your properties and what is your routine?
fine - low/normal porosity - medium density - normal elasticity.

Currently using:
Cowash: Cure Care diluted with water 1:1
RO: Cure Care, V05 Kiwi Lime
Styler: UFD CM (old formula), FSG + CNPF
PT: IAgirl's gelatine

Experimenting with: no guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, gelatin gel

Recent findings: my hair likes Cure Care diluted with water as a cowash; does NOT like guar h.c.!

Plopping and co-washing here I come.
Can't believe I've been CG/mod-CG for a year now! I had a couple flatiron relapses along the way but thank goodness my curls smacked me in the face for it. I'm having a really hard time picking one favorite after pic. Today I'm just overwhelmed at the difference in my hair. I straightened it for years, beating my stubborn curl pattern into submission with heat and chemicals. I believe there's still some relaxer left in the canopy that I refuse to chop off, but I think over time my unruly canopy will behave as the chemically altered parts continue to get trimmed off. It might be years since my hair grows slow, but at least I know what I'm doing now!

Today, just LI & air dried

Feel free to try to type it. I never decided on one, it doesn't play by the rules anyways. Ended up deciding the only thing I knew for sure was that it was fine-textured, which led me to protein, which was the best dang thing I ever could've done.

In my "before" picture, I was so proud of my waves and thought they were so "curly". It makes me giggle when I look back and think about it. I think that was the first time I tried to go CG, but didn't know anything about products or scrunching. Thank goodness for this board!

I feel so inspired looking at all the pictures, I've only just gone full CG although I've been co-washing for 5-6 weeks (and prior to that, I was condition-wash-conditioning for 2 months). I'm finding it hard to believe I'll see drastic improvement though. I am wavier than I thought but not consistently, I have a mixed bag of S shapes, straight sections and the odd coil/spiral. Someone give me hope!
