Wow, it certainly seems so! And it's only the 1st week! It usually takes about 3 for the hair to get remoisturized, so you're doing very well. [/QUOTE]

Thank you! I'm just ready for healthy long hair...gotta keep pushing along! 😊
I started CG on July 21 of this year, after about a decade of straightening my hair with a flat iron every day. I've attached picture of my curls a few days before I started (the first two), and what they look like today (the last two). I am kind of flabbergasted at the difference in such a short time! I'm thrilled, I thought my curls were gone forever. But all they needed was a little TLC!

Edited to add: Can anyone tell me what kind of hair type I have? I know it doesn't really matter but I'm curious. When I started I thought I was a 2c-3a at best but now I don't know!

@kmcnelis I'd say 2C/3A at the back, but more 2B toward the front

It's been about a year and a half since I started CG. In that time, my hair has grown from just below shoulder length to now past bsl. I currently lather/rinse/repeat with a loo poo, condition and secure with a claw clip while I shave/wash, plop while getting ready for work, scrunch out the excess water with an old t-shirt, and finally scrunch in whatever product I'm using for the day and let air dry. I used to shampoo every single day when I used sulfates and 'cones, but now I stretch that way out to once every 3-4 days depending on how my scalp feels.

First picture is from March 2013 when I first started CG. The other pictures are current.
