Default Tell me everything about...

I got stuck in the supermarket yesterday waiting for the worst of a thunderstorm to pass and ended up buying BRHG. BAD PJ, BAD.

Anyway, tell me everything!

How much do you use for your amount of hair?

When/how do you apply it?

What products do you use with it?

And anything else you think might be of interest. There seems to be a renewed hankering for BRHG now that summer's here.

I can't use it on its own - it's just too strong for me and gives me stringy curls. I like mixing it with a lighter hold gel; I only use about a pea-sized amount when doing that, but then my hair is only shoulder length, so you'd have to adjust and play around a bit for your long hair.

The last couple days I've used it with Biotera leave-in and a little bit of Biotera Curl creme combed through in the shower. Then I have used a few puddles of Biotera gel, then about a pea sized amount of BRHG over that. I just rub my hands together to spread it out and scrunch it in. I have also gotten my hands wet before using it to help distribute. It is definately strong but that little bit seems to scrunch out well once my hair is dry.

I LOVE it and use it over curl cream or KCCC. My hair isn't quite at my shoulders, and I use maybe a nickel to a quarter sized blob. It is great stuff. I had never tried it before last week.
