Okay, maybe I'm crazy, but...

I'm really wishing for more humidity where I live.
It hasn't actually been humid in San Antonio TX since before I started wearing my hair curly, and I know my hair gets curlier in wet weather because of the thousands of ruined-hair days I suffered through back when I straightened my hair.

It's funny: almost everyday of the school year, I had to go to school with a half-waved, half-straight pixie cut, making me look like a skater/surfer boy.
And now, when I could actually use the awful humidity to my advantage, it disappears!!

Does anyone else's hair do better (curlier?) in the humidity, or is it just me?

I'm an Indiana girl---I'll gladly send you some of our humidity!! I don't mind a little humidity, but it's been suffocating here lately. Frizz city where my curls are concerned.

P.S. My hubby went to law school in San Antonio. It's one of our favorite places! Beautiful city, love the Riverwalk!

Living in Houston, TX for most of my life, I thought that humidity was the worst thing in the world. Now that I have moved to Cincinnati, OH I realize just how much I needed that humidity. This winter was brutal on my curls Thankfully, it has been more humid lately, so my curls are definitely bouncing back!

My hair loves humidity. This is the first year I've looked forward to it.

My hair loves humidity. So does my skin. Humidity is really good for your looks if not for your clothes...lol.

I happen to like warm humid weather (although here it's been a bit much the last couple of weeks), it's a mindset. The more you fight it (too much air conditioning, etc.) the more horrible it will be. Relax and go with the muggy flow...
Modified CG. You'll pry my 'cones from my cold dead fingers! Mixed waves, coarse, below shoulder length, dark brown. I hate my hair but I'm trying to learn to accept it.

Gels: LA Looks Wet Look Styling Gel, Garnier Fructis Wet Shine Gel. Condish: Alberto V05 Free Me Fresia, Tresemme' Flawless Curls, LVPNG, Neutrogena Triple Moisture. Shampoo: Tresemme' Flawless Curls. Silicone Serum: Whatever is on sale, but I don't leave home without it.
