Why Jessicurl Whyyyyyyyy?

I love love love the curls (actually ringlets) I get with CCSS and rockin' ringlets. But after about two hours I get major FRIZZ. And I am not one to get real frizzy hair but boy oh boy do these products do it. But there are BEAUTIFUL curls under that frizz. Oh how I wish that didn't happen. But I am willing to bet if you take out the darn mag sulfate - no ringlets. I have even tried more leave in condish under - nope - that didnt help either. Rant over

Maybe a more conventional gel over the top?
I know! So sad that there is Mag Sulfate in this. I just cannot use her stylers or RE:Coil
Was as disappointed as you where - I ordered the sample kit along with RR and CC 8 oz.ers and tried 3 times then sent them along to a happy camper on this site who doesn't mind magnesium sulfate. Sad, sad....but it is good to know that I can't use it and therefore avoid it totally

When I get to be 'Queen of the World', I will absolish WIND!!!
For a few days now, I've been using Rockin' Ringlets with CK on top of that and a firm hold gel on top of that and it's been working great. No frizzies except for yesterday when the wind and the rain was hellacious and the wind got me before my hair was completely dry.

Oh, man, I am *so* with you on that, xcptnl. But it never occurred to me to use CK in the creative ways that hopetocurl or msgiblet suggested. I think I might try those methods -- how about you? I wanna use Jessicurl, too, because I get the best curls from it! Stupid magnesium sulfate....

I will probably continue to try it now and again-ya never know!! For some reason I cannot give up on these (anything else would be long gone or never used again) - it must be because of the curls under the frizz.

Hi

Im currently on CG does that mean I can't use jessicurl products? I was thinking of trying the Too Shea as a leave in condish, as well as Confident Curls and Rocking Ringlets. The only other option is shea moisture. Which is best?
Curl Type 3A and with a mind of its own.

Shampoo once a week with Organic Aloe Vera Herbal Shampoo.

Currently on the look out for a new DT and Styling Cream, though Curl Junkie is looking quite good.
I've been using JCCC with LA Looks sport gel over it. I keep my hands off my hair until it's completely dry (I air dry) then I scrunch out the crunch. I have no frizz.

Ok..today I tried this:

CK, Rocking Ringlets, gel.

I just scrunched out so too early to tell about the frizz but the curl formation is good. We need a fingers crossed smiley!

If it doesn't work, maybe the RR first before the CK will. For some reason, that's only way I can get it to work.

I have the same problem with jessicurl products. what iu find works for me is to put in RR and CCSS tyhen plop. Once my hair is completely dry I put LA looks gel on top which gets rid of most of the frizz and then I'm good! It just sucks to ahve to carry around the gel if i'm not home...
Thick 3a hair that I am still learning how to manage!

Routine:
normally I condition with suave naturals conditioner and then put in Knot Today Leave in conditioner and KKKC
plop for 15-20 min
air dry
put in LA Looks Gel or Biotera Gel during the day
