QCCC application question

Finally got around to trying this today, tho I got it weeks ago.

Its really thick, so I was afraid to overdo it. I used that, plopped, then used the BRHG.

The results are nice, but not spectacular (not as good as the Biotera curl creme - no clumping). But it seems to have potential.... I will try it again - so any suggestions re how much to use or how to maximize the benefits?

Also, I didnt use the CK underneath; have any of you tried it that way?

As I recall, it's pretty "rich." I think I used the Giovanni Direct Leave In, a little of the QCCC and the BRHG. I got nice spirals with that combo. I can't use the CK and I don't think I used the substitute. I haven't used it in a while, but I'll try it again--maybe tomorrow. This is one I can count on for good curls.

I can only use it in the winter; I really liked it then. I only used a pea-sized amount as my leave-in for my thick, shoulder length hair.

I just did a quick "skim" of the ingredients for the QCCC and the Biotera. While they both have oils, the QCCC seems to have a lot more. I would call it a "heavier" product. I'm sure that's why ms. g doesn't use it in the summer. This is my first summer using all the products, so I'm learning what I can and can't use. I'm learning that the heavier products aren't as good right now, they weigh my hair down.
