Any Good Detanglers Out There?

I'm having a little bit of difficulty finding the best detangler for my hair type. I can't seem to figure out my type yet but I think I am between a 3b and 3c or mixed. Anyhow, my hair has become thinner lately after damages from the flat iron, making my detangling process more complicated. As many people have said to me, I have all the products in the world (when I say all, I mean I have two drawers and a whole cabinet of hair products) but still can't find the right conditioner/ detangler product that better works for me. Since I prefer natural products, I have been using an Olive Oil treatment that is not perfect but seems to be working for now yet I'm not fully convinced with it. Maybe it's because my hair is so porous right now due to the damages from the flat iron. I expect my conditioner/detangler to do miracles such that if I stroke my hand through my hair it feels like silk. So far nothing seems to work that way anymore and I am getting more impatient each day. Iím also trying to avoid getting another hair cut so if anybody who may have experienced the same problems can recommend something I would deeply appreciate it. Dying to find how I can make my detangling process a little easier. Please help!!

Hi - Jonathan Torch recommends his Slip Detangler but I've never tried it. I use Bumble and Bumble Prep which is very expensive so I only use a little at a time but it does the trick for me. It's a spray with no hold in it - you use it as a leave in to layer under styling products. It's full of herbs and vitamins which I don't know whether they actually do any good, but they can't hurt. Let us know when you find a detangler you really like. Good luck!
Oyin Honey-hemp! Detangles like a dream!

Growing out a pixie as of November 2013

Shampoo: Elucence MBS & Renpure Originals Argan Oil
Conditioner: Elucence MBC & Renpure Originals Argan Oil

Product Junkie that keeps falling off the wagon!
I agree, KCKT is awesome for detangling.
3B: very thick, fine, easily weighed down by products

Current styling products:
Biolage Gelee or BRHG on top of
KCKT as a leave in or CK when humid
or just Joiwhip alone for moderate weather conditions
I like Jane Carter Revitalizing Leave-In Conditioner. It's a lightweight spray conditioner, but I would only recommend it if the KCKT is too heavy for you.
Loose botticelli curls and waves
No silicones/no sulfates since March 2008
I second a chs Slip too. Also a conditioner with a lot of slip as well like One C or Eluence.
