There's no option for "I've used both and prefer neither."
But that's the one I would pick if there were. They both overconditioned me (but I'm prone to it).

i used the devacurl one this weekend mixed with honey on dry hair and left it until the morning. the results were okay. It detangled well enough.
i don't think i will rebuy. It has a lemony fragrance that doesn't linger too much and a creamy consistency.
Aussie 3 minute miracle deep works just as well or better for my hair and it is A LOT cheaper.
Edited to add: i only bought it because i found a local salon that sells it. I don't think I would have bought it otherwise. I am curious to try the Elucence.

Only used One C Before
I have only used One C and is has a strong odor that I could do without. I only ended up using 50 percent of the bottle and then threw the rest out. It is moisturizing and detangling but I just could not put up with the smell. The scent of this product definitely needs to be changed!

Devacurl One Condition all the way Elucence smells much better and is a good conditioner, but One Condition is a better detangler and seems to provide more moisture.

I've tried both, and I definitely prefer Elucence. About 5 months ago I bought 12 oz bottles of One C and Elucence at the same time -- they both got good reviews, so I wanted to try both. Since then, I've used about 1/4 of the bottle of One C, but I'm now on my second liter of Elucence!!!! One C is nice, and I still occasionally use the Devabrown One C to deepen my hair color. But I couldn't live without Elucence!!!

I'm a OneC girl, all the way. And I actually like the fragrance better than Elucence. :P I like all the DevaCurl fragrances.
OKOK, I'm going to use Elucence today, just to give it another chance.

I love all the deva products and am so relieved I can use one product line and don't need any other. Also it always worked for me at devachan and I am glad it works now at home.ALso, there is a person on evay selling cases of one c at half the price you pay in the store. I have 2 cases of it. Just type in devacurl on ebay and see. I love the products and love devachan. My hair has never been better.

How about used both and like both.
Deva One C- Detangles very well, I love the lemongrass smell, works great when left in
Elucence MBC- don't love the fake peach smell as much as the lemongrass (personal opinion), doesn't detangle quite as well as One C but is GREAT as a leave in.
I think One C detangles better but I think Elucence is a great leave in. Depends on which is most important to you.

One C!
Elucence just didn't work for me. UNLESS I added honey, but I thought that was kinda weird.
Beware of both smells though because they are strong. Try to sniff before you buy.

Re: Only used One C Before
This is my experience exactly. It's a very good conditioner but I just can't deal with the fragrance.

Seriously! If they just changed the fragrance, even
to smell like Nopoo, I'd probably use OC exclusively.
I've only used the Elucence poo, not the conditioner,
but it smelled strongly of peach schnapps and was a bit
too cloying for me. I've heard they smell the
same so I won't be buying the conditioner.

Someone on here described the Elucence scent like "breath." I thought that was funny.

Yes, the Elucence conditioner also has a peach fragrance. I don't find that it lingers in my hair, though.

One Condition made my hair feel gunky and weighed down. I think Elucence is more conditioning, but it doesn't weigh my hair down badly. I don't like the scent of One Condition, either, reminds me of a bathroom cleaner. I don't have tangling issues, so that doesn't come into play for me.

Use both and love both. I switch off every week.
Find I need to use less Elucence than One C but they both condition very well.
