Question New Big Chopped and looking for hair twin:)pics inside

Hello everyone,
I am new here and new to my natural hair,I transitioned for a little over 8 months and big chopped on Aug.23 last week,my hair is very short i can`t even put it in a ponytail yet,I have been told i am a 3c/4a hair type i would like more than one opinion on this please, and people with similar types can you suggest products for moisture, and growth, should i brush my hair or only comb it? I feel a bit lost as to what to do with my hair so i am looking for a few hair twins to help me get started
I am using Tigi bedhead cond.ors moisturizer, organics shea butter moisturizer various oils and water and a growth aid once a week. i am going to post a few pics to get your opinions on hair type and any suggestions on a regime i love seeing my natural hair but i am uncomfortable with the length of it.
I am also mom of two and an Army wife of 13.5 years hubby is currently deployed (3rd rotation) and i would like to have more than a twa before her gets home...
Ps.
If i am a 3c/4a mix is it an equal amount of them and do i have to buy products for each type to grow my hair successfully?
My hair is dry in all pics thanks for your help in advance

The product experts will probably be able to help you further, but I can definitely tell you that you shouldn't need different products for moisture purposes. You just buy for the neediest, dryest hair. Maybe apply it more lightly to the less needy hair.
Styling products may be another story.

I appreciate the response, being new i am just wanting to connect with other naturals and learn how to care for my new head of hair,I am feeling a bit discouraged there is so much information on what is good for this and that hair what is not good,I dont want to buy out the BSS lol,i really am happy you responded. So any moistrurizer will do for my whole head...what hair type am I? I was told if you are such and such hair type you should do this or use that, very confusing... i just need some guidance and opinion on my type so i can make the best choices for my hair

Welcome and congrats on your BC. I think you'll find that most 3c and 4a's use many of the same products. It's also important to pay attention to whether your hair is fine, medium or coarse, and also to volume. Products that work for coarse haired 4a's may not work for fine-haird 4a's.

LOL, I didn't say ANY moisturizer will do, because most people find their hair likes certain types of products better. Some people's hair thrives on oils, others on butters, etc. But if you have more than one type of of hair, once you find something that's working for your driest hair it should be fine to use that all over.
If you want to go by the number/letter system, you look like you have mostly 3c curls to me, maybe a little 4a mixed in. But it's hard to tell. Honestly, you kinda have to figure out the typing out yourself. If I posted pics and asked, I think people would go "your hair is 4a or 4b" because it would be difficult to tell in a pic that it's that, as well an under layer of 3c and random 2's mixed in.
I can't really recommend products because everyone's hair responds to differently.
Most of us just hang out on the board(s) for our curl type(s) and see if what someone else there loved, might work for us too. For example, on the 4a board there's a large group in love with Qhemets Biologics products. Then there's me and some others who tried it who are like meh, didn't really do much for my hair.

Coily,
thank you for everything i just went and started buying stuff and trying it..lol i do not want to shop online yet until i find out what my hair likes, she seems to be as confused as i am...lol i dont think she likes the noodle head, though my curls are really defined with it,it feels hard which i don`t like i brought aloe vera gel today bc it says it is all natural, but honestly i forgot what it is supposed to be for so i have to go searching about info again, there is also a sale on organics coconut conditioner buy one get one free but i resisted the urge bc i have 6 conditioners right now...lol,I think i understand that hair typing helps to relate with others and share product experiences but also that my crazy hair is individual as our all our heads so trial and error right? i hope she is going to prove to be an easy head of hair to find products for if not,i guess i am coming out of recovery from my case of the PJ`s
I will definitely be hanging out on the boards and i want to be actively involved in meeting people too,you all seem pretty friendly

Hi there,
thank you for the info,i believe my hair is and has always been thin,I thought my hair was damaged bc thick hair looks so pretty and healthy but my mom said my hair has always been been fine, but i hope it will get thicker as my hair grows,I am glad to hear the products are interchangeable that will make finding what works much easier and hopefully less expensive so i don`t have to sell my car to buy hair products...lol

Question Has anyone used these two lines of products?

I am bumping in hopes that someone has used either blended beauty or curls products on 3c/4a hair and how well did they work, from the poll above and my own personal hair playing. i will have to say i am a 3c/4a i am looking for a line of curly products to try, my counters are currently cluttered with multiple experimental oil combos and hair concoctions...lol.
