This was a good idea for a thread. I think the curls take years off for sure! (as others have said) And they make everyone look so fun too. I'd join in but I've never straightened my hair..........

I don't think I have any straight haired pictures downloaded. Best I can do is compare curly pics with short hair ones.

babywavy~I love your new short cut! I've been thinking lately about chopping mine off, too. Are you happy with it? As much as I get sick of my long hair, I am scared to cut it off!

I loooove it.
Sometimes i'll start to miss my curls, and then I'll remind myself of how much work they took, and how I wasn't garuanteed that they would come out right.

Okay, I'll play too. These are about four years old. My hair isn't red anymore...

Okay, I'll play along, too!
These pictures were taken about 5 months apart. Maybe less.
Straight hair:
I'm gonna post 2 curly pics. The red-haired one is me with my Henna Head and was taken in July. The other one was taken in February-ish.
Oh, yeah. And I think my hair is curlier than this photo, but I might be high, too.

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.
No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

Sairis, I agree, I do think I look younger with it curly. Also, its inherent coarseness does make it lose its luster when straighter. I don't do it often, but it is fun to see the shrinkage difference!
Oreosmakemehappy, yeah, I wish it was that long curly!! I dye it too much to see that though...
SunshineGrrl, I'm obviously biased, But I loooove the red!

Woah babywavy, if I was that cute in short hair I'd wear it that way too! And it's so YOUNG on you in a totally good way! Love love love it!
Lady Noa you gimme your hair now! wohoo that is some gorgeous hair!
I'd show mine straight but umm cant' find any and it's probably way scary since I'm no good at straightening. Fear the big hair, it is NOT your friend!

I love your curls! They really suit you.
That being said though, the haircut you had with the straight hair is SUPER cute! My hair would never lay so nice and flat, but I always wanted a cut like that.

You look grrrreat in all of them! I'm totally jealous. As for the pictures. Instead of putting them in as attachments, if you right click on the photo you want to post and go to properties, under address or location, it'll have something there. Copy that location, then in here, click on the insert image link. It has mountains with something that looks like a postage stamp, then just paste the location in there. Voila! Inserted pictures instead of attached!

Thank you! That "nice and flat" look took about 40 minutes of flat-ironing every day, lol.
