Not only does everyone's hair look different as expected, your faces look different! And your personalities look very different!

I noticed that too. It's been so interesting.

I've been wearing my hair straight a lot lately, because, as odd as it sounds, it's easier upkeep and takes less time to do in the morning.... and I'm a busy lady. I love being able to have both curly AND straight hair though. Curly makes me feel unique and straight makes me feel pretty.

I'm bumping this not because it's my thread, heh, but because I thought this thread might get wiped out soon and I have a pic I want to submit as soon as I can get it scanned. Anyone with pics, indulge us, please.

I'm glad you did! I edited my original post with a better and updated curly pic. I needed the reminder of how far I've come.

Here's my before... this was about six months ago, before I went back to curly and started CG. This must have been right after I got a haircut because I don't ever remember my hair actually looking so nice and bobbed.

Here's me curly, post-CG about a month ago, and then on Saturday (ignore my friend's face lol)

I have only straightened my hair a few times in my life, twice for plays, once because I was drunk and it sounded like a good idea, and once because my sister begged me.

The results were so horrible I'm glad I don't have any pictures to post here.

Personally I prefer everyone's gorgeous curls to straight hair, but everyone's straightened hair looks seven thousand times nicer than mine. I've used the super straighteners and all the creams and stylers and whatnot but my final product looks NOTHING like everyone else's. And within an hour it's curling up again.

Weird.

I'm not too worried about ever getting the hang of straightening. I actually look older than my age when my hair is straight. Not cool.

Here are my two pictures. One is with the curl, and the other was not straightened with anything other than a ponytail but it's still straighter.

Edit: no clue why one of them is sideways.... Oh well
