My birthday was on Friday, and I was loving my hair all night! This is a crappy (kinda purply) camera pic, but it shows my curls pretty well:

whatsercurl said it right, the grass is always greener

The proof is also in the picture and your hair looks great in that one!!!
I know, its sickening - her hair is hollywood perfect. I'd trade my kinky semi ringlets for consistent waves like that! She's nuts to dis 'em.

Laughing out loud at this, as always rudee! I can top you, though -- I'm late to the party because I refused to even OPEN this thread until today. Dewpoints in the 20's all week and my hair has been HORRID. I was only able to open the thread because some humid hair came in yesterday, so I was happy again. Hair envy can be an ugly, ugly thing. But you all look great.

Maybe I should start a "worst hair day" thread???? Wonder if anybody would have the guts to post.... I wouldn't!
Lol That you wouldnt open the thread til it got humid. I so relate - am trying to deal with the dry air as we speak.... I think there have been worst hair day threads..... I know when I was a newbie I started a thread of SHow us your hair without and product and bushed out and LOTS of people posted (not I)

Seriously, even on a good hair day, I wouldnt post my pic up against you all.... mortification!!!!

Happy belated birthday mycolorfulheart! Your curls are adorable. I bet you got lots of compliments on your best hair day (and probably every other day too)! Thanks for posting.

As I said earlier, my hair is at the point where it pretty much looks the same all of the time as long as I don't slack off on care and maintenance. But, I liked this picture because it was 4th day hair, and it still looked pretty good! Pardon the just-got-out-of-bed face and pajamas. I had literally just gotten out of bed for that pic.

Gorgeous, as usual, and still one of my favorite heads of hair here!

4th day hair?? You have to be kidding RCC!! I would give all my products away to the needy curlies if I could get that hair on 1st day!

FOURTH DAY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

That's amazing!!! You always have such gorgeous hair pictures, but I can definitely see why you like this one in particular!

See, and I love the fatter loops that you two get. I only get that with a big curling iron. The grass is greener and all that.

ETA: How ungracious - I forgot to add a thank you! Really though, all of the support and help I have gotten here over the past two years has been immeasurable. I would have never gone through the long year it took to find a working routine if had not been for you guys. So, thanks! Without you all, I'd still be getting called Brillo pad head!

Ha, ha. You have definitely got your hair down to a science if it always looks the same. My hair rarely looks the same way twice! But seriously, you have amazingly beautiful hair. I know it's hard to hear compliments sometimes when we are used to being called something like Brillo pad head. But it's true. Your hair is heavenly.

Finally!

I had a good hair day! Best one yet!

Took a lot of hard work! I hope I get more days like this!

My best hair day so far was unbelievably yesterday. Not as spectacular as I have seen here today..I kept running to the mirror to see if it was true, but do you think I thought of the camera??
.... I did just as Mysteryflavored's KCCC video using the same products and my hair had movement and wonderful spirals & the length was incredible. I even scrunched which I thought I would never do, considering the coarse wild texture... but it worked...You all give me hope...Today I tried CK...I don't know what happened.... .... I was so excited to try it...What did I do wrong?...I got "poof"....when I had envisioned hair as wonderful as Watsercurl...

I envisioned the same. Last Sunday I tried it and got a frizzy mess. I have pictures.... I should start a thread of the worst hair days.... I have a ton!

Mine so far was the day of my very first co-wash (Sunday). The second cowash was frizzier because I had to go outside (in the wind) before it was totally dry grr. But anyways, first cowash hair:

You all look so pretty! I'm jealous of all the ringlets.

My hair was shorter here (several years ago--it's waist-length now), and I used Biolage Gelee. Now I wonder if it would have been any curlier if I had been using Jessicurl stylers like I do now.

I have trouble getting volume at the top, especially with my hair this long. It seems to be either defined, low-frizz curls, or less definition, more frizz, and some volume. Then sometimes I think to myself, do I really need volume?? Who says I do?!

I keep "threatening" to cut my hair, and this pic makes me want to do so!
