Default Question For Everyone - Should I sell my Straightners???

Sooo, Ive been curly for approx 3 months but I still get the urge to straighten every now and then and I admit that i have given in a few times .

I'm now trying to grow my hair and keep it healthy so here is the question......

Should I sell my straightners???

Just for clarification purposes - are you talking about products or appliances (ie, a flat iron) ?

Ok, putting another poll on to ask another question, but before you vote on this poll you may wish to check it out to see what my hair looks like straight so you can make your opinions.

Personally I would regret it, so that is how I voted. I do on occasion straighten, maybe about once a month or so. I like the change! I have had curly since I was a teen (that is when it decided to curl!) I think as long as you are caring for your hair, straightening once in awhile if you choose to isn't bad!

This is pretty much me/how I feel.

I would just put it away for awhile. I never had the urge to straighten at all for 2 years -- after 2 years I finally had my stylist do it a couple of times. If you've already caved after only being curly for 3 months, I don't think you're ready to part with it and may regret it later.

ALthough I'm too inept to do it myself, I like to wear my hair straight a few times a year. If I had the ability and the tools, I'd keep them unless I think I'd be tempted to do it too often.

I agree with BrewCrewGirl too. I know if I got rid of mine I'd have the urge to straighten and end up buying new ones. I do straighten occasionally - sometimes it's just handy not to have to do the whole curl thing every morning.

I would regret it. I don't straighten mine often, but I still have my flat iron. It doesn't take up much room - it is right next to my hair dryer - and I know I'm going to want it and wish I had it!

Do you think someone would buy them? No offense, but isn't it kind of icky to use someone else's hair tools?

I vote to get rid of them. I still straighten once in a great while, but only w/a dryer & round brush. I will NEVER EVER let a flat iron touch my hair again--Paula Begouin says it is like THE most damaging thing in the world to your hair's health.

What about letting your sister use it until you want it back?
