Default Ryan Lochte

Hi guys, I'm new here. I'm going to get a haircut at the local stylist I read great reviews on. I was wanting to get a similar style to Ryan Lochte. I realize a picture would describe the style to the stylist better than words could, but how would you describe this style?

I love his hair! I'd just bring the picture. I have a hard enough time describing what I want (especially to those stylists that don't understand curly hair), so the picture always helps. And welcome!

Thanks for the quick reply. The thing is, I don't know if the way I cut my hair would make it curlier, or if it would work with this style. I'll try to post a picture of my current hair soon. Does he have the sides of his hair cut close to his ears, then the back sort of just curls forward to the side of his head?

Sorry about this double post, but I just saw this video and it was around the same time as the pic on the original post. How would you describe his haircut? Usually, I get one haircut pretty short, and it just grows out (which is why I want to get a decent cut this time)

I'd probably call it a little shaggy, but I'm not sure that's a great description! I was on drumline in high school, and all the guys had that look. They'd cut it short at the beginning and let it grow out. My brother has hair that's similiar and it gets curlier as it gets a little longer, probably around the length Ryan has in this video. It doesn't look like the sides are any shorter than the rest. Hope this helps! Maybe some other people will chime in soon..
