Getting Frustrated - Do I need a leave in?

I haven't had good luck with leave-ins. I am beginning to think its because it had either glycerin or loaded with proteins.

Someone has been kind enough to send me a KCCC sample, and I was wondering about KCKT. Does it work as a leave in well enough on its own? If not, what are other recommendations.

I tried KBB nectar as a leave in, but it only works as a rinse out for me.

KCKT is the only leave in that was useful for me.

As for glycerine - it is my HG in summer but the devil in winter.

KCKT works well as a leave-in for me but I have to be careful not to overdo it (less than a dime-size is enough; I use a teeny-tiny dollop). Anything else, and my hair goes limp. It's very thin and fine and easily weighed down.

If you want to use a leave-in but find traditional ones too heavy, I had good luck with Jane Carter's Revitalizing Leave-In. It's a lightweight spray, and I've been thinking of stealing it back from DD.

I might have to check out the spray as I think my local health food store carries Jane Carter. If not, I might see how my hair does with KCCC. If it likes it, then I might go with KCKT.

I've got very fine hair, and I've had very good luck with Abba Nourish - old fomula (unfortunately). I haven't tried the new one yet...

The JCLI is moisturizing and isn't greasy. It is a lightweight moisture though. If your hair is very dry, it might not be enough for you.

I use the KCKT sometimes as a leave-in but I don't like it as much as Biolage conditioning balm or Beauty Without Cruelty leave-in. My hair is pretty thick and not fine so I usually like the Biolage.
