College is hindering my inner mad scientist

Ok, so I'm in college right now and since I'm just a first year I don't have access to a kitchen. I love cooking, so this makes me very sad to begin with, but this morning I was browsing the forum looking for what works well as a curl refresher spray and there are so many interesting at-home recipes that I can't try without a stocked kitchen and/or stove (ie lavender mist needs boiled water). I'm also without car so it takes about an hour and a half to make a trip to a store because the busses are slow and have long routes.

So my question is: anyone have any good curl refreshers that you can get online for not too terribly expensive (remember, starving college student)?

The boiling is just to kill any bacteria that may be present in tap water. Bottled water is a suitable replacement (and something you should have access to

).
I don't know about the curl refresher, but iherb is a website where you can buy a lot of the raw materials that people use to play kitchen chem (essential oils, acv, fixed oils, etc.) and it's pretty cheap.

oh yes, I have oodles of bottled water! haha. I'll have to try that then.
