Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Booster

I got this from a friend (a fellow curly) who swears by this stuff but she also swears by frizz serums too. So my question is how would I use this and is it CG or Mod. CG? Thanks
It contains a water soluble cone. I used to use this with the amplifier. Basically you spray it on your hair and its supposed to make more volume.

Before. I would spray a bit on with my head up then flip it over and spray a little more. Then scrunch in amplifier. The amplifier is known to cause crunchiness.

Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Amplifier Ingredients:
Aqua (Water/EAU), VP/DMAPA Acrylates Copolymer, Cyclomethicone, Polyquaternium-11, Polyquaternium-37, Styrene/Butadiene Copolymer, Parfum (Fragrance), Amyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Benzyl Salicylate, Geraniol, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene, Carboxaldehyde, Butylphenyl, Methylpropional, Linalool, Citronellol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Polysorbate 60, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Propylene Glycol, Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Cetearyl Alcohol, PPG-1 Trideceth-6 C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Helianthus Annuus (Hybrid Sunflower) Oil, Panthenol, Bacopa, Monniera Extract, PVP/Dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate Copolymer, Cinnamidoproplytrionium Chloride, Chitosan, Butylene Glycol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Acid, Methylisothiazolinone.

Cyclomethicone is not water soluble according to http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlre...p-on-silicones, but should supposedly come out with a conditioner wash, which is interesting. Maybe the scrubbing action of the wash gets it out? That honestly has me confused.

When I used Curls Rock, the amplifier didn't seem to give me enough hold, and it was definitely crunchy (but that was before I was in the habit of scrunching my crunch...). That said, if your friend gave it to you, what have you got to lose, eh? Good luck!

The amplifier has that cone, not the booster. They are two seperate products.

This is my very 1st post on this site- I've been curly for a LONG TIME, but never knew there were such great sites! And I've never had curly friends or relatives, so I've found the light!!! I'm sitting here w/ all my products on the bed trying to figure out which to chuck & what to invest in. Will someone help me??? I'm using Catwalk Oatmeal & honey shampoo & conditioner, then Bed Head Foxy curls & sometimes Marc Daniels Go Curly. I'm relatively new to using products at all, so I've only used a couple other things-mostly other curls rock from a couple Toni&Guy haircuts.
i will say that just using a few simple things like not rinsing all the cond. out (felt super weird doing this!), using a tshirt instead of towel, not blowdrying, then using more product already has people saying WOW-your hair is so curly! I certainly went from a 2C to 3A easily overnight (actually back to my high school hormonal curls!).
Any info on these products or advice is very much appreciated! thanks!
