Does anyone have this problem?

I used to be Shann-n but can't seem to get them to log me back in so I have a new name now
Anyway I was modified CG from Feb. 2008 until 11/08... and my hair was great... but my face broke out more then I have ever had it break out before. My hubby thought it was because I didn't wash my hair so I started washing and my face is better, but... my hair is so dry and not as consistent as it was before...
Any ideas... I want to start CG again but don't want the forehead and temple break outs I was getting!!!
i cant exactly help you, but i notice my hairline is breaking out - it never has.

anyone think shampoo bars would help?

3a since going CG!
CG on 10/12/08. free of cones, sulfates, and shampoo! added shampoo bars 1/80/09.
using:
shampoo bars (wind blossom)
condish - burts bees super shiny
styling - confused and running out of products. TRYING LOOB!
trying: tweek...barely.
WAITING to try: Melting Gel...resisting the urge to become a PJ...kind of...
Dislikes: molasses and CK so unfortunately...
Actually, I think the shampoo bars would help a lot!

Considering that it will just gently clean, and not build up extra conditioner on those areas, it could possible solve your problems.

Maybe you need to switch up the conditioner you use for co-washing? Could it be too heavy?

I was going to recommend the soap/shampoo bars, too. I was nopoo for six months and added them 9/1--not because of breaking out. My curls are tighter and my hair has more volume. I've never had curly hair in the cold, dry winter months!

where can you get shampoo bars... my break outs are on the forehead and temples which is why i figure it was my hair or maybe what I was putting in it? I'm wondering now if it was the HE SMU? Anyone have pore clogging experience with the gel... not that I put the gel on my face but as my hair is drying it falls in my face, I can't pull it back because then it would dry really funny.. My hair tends to stay where it was as it drys.
