Help me diagnose this frizz.

It's been really bad lately. I don't know if it's the products I am using or what but it's frustrating. I have some KCCC on it's way and I hope that helps.

I tried passing some AVG over and it got worse.

I used HEBE Mousse and HESMU Gel.
3b | low-normal porosity (still confused, definitely not high porosity) | med to coarse texture

Co-Wash: most any silicone free V05 or Suave | RO: GVP Cond. Balm, GVP Joico K Pak, Tresemme Naturals Moisutrizing Cond., SheaMoisture Shea Butter Restorative Cond. | LI: one of my rinse outs | DT: one of my rinse outs with oil | Stylers: BRHG
Looks like mine does on Day 2, if I diffuse too long, plop too long or don't get my product evenly distributed. So it could be many things.

Same exact problem here! Your hair looks dry, the frizz looks dry that is. What kind of towel do you use? Are you blow drying? Have you tried an ACV rinse?
I'm going for a trim tomorrow, I've had really bad hair days lately. Usually I can do 2nd day hair and it just looks awful in the morning, dry and fuzzy. I will update my pics, the link is in my signature, that way you can see that we have the same issues.
Weird huh?
My hair looked great for weeks, now all of sudden nothing is working, I mean NOTHING!

Too much gel. Mist it with a bit of water and then scrunch. You should get softer curls while it dries not so crunchy or frizzy.

Have you tried using just mousse or just gel? I cannot use them together.

I might have to try them alone. I'm afraid to use mousse alone but I'll try.

Well I was impatient and washed again.
Used less mousse and less gel as Speckla suggested, tomorrow I will try just mousse as jillipoo suggested.

Here are the results...

Still some frizz but I think significantly less and more... normal?

Thanks everyone!

Less frizz, yes! It really looks like a few fly aways and not really frizz. Your curls will also plump up as they dry and the frizz will lay down a bit more.

But the frizz before wasn't too bad. It looks magnified when you take a picture because it's a closer view that you can see or anyone else. No one is going to be standing that close...or they better back up and say, "Excuse me," if they are.
