Anyone have pics of side-swept bangs on curly hair?
I'm sick of my big, fat forehead and like the idea of having side-swept bangs, shorter in the center to longer on the side. Anyone have any pics of this look with curly hair? I'm trying to get an idea of what it would look like. Thanks!

Don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but I found this:

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.
No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

Yes, this is the idea. I'm wondering if it can be done without straightening that front piece, but maybe not. Thank you for posting this.
Anyone else? please, please. )

I'm interested to see what other photos people post. I've been toying with the idea of bangs but my hair is so curly that I think I might look ridiculous.

I can't imagine that would hold up in the real world! It does look very triangular though doesn't it???
MimsTX has bangs that look really cute on her curls. Check out her FOTKI.

Uh, oh I hope I didn't say fabu. I would remember a triangle and probably would have said DON'T do it!! What are you doing instead??? SORRY me no likey but that's only one opinion and chances are you wouldn't look EXACTLY like that anyway???

Well, I prefaced that I would get the cut without the poof on the sides. Maybe that was the likey factor.
I don't know what I'm getting. My instructor can't explain it to me other than the fact that it'll be fabu. I trust her, so we'll see. The best part? I think most of the bleached ends will have been cut off after this cut. It's going to be short(er), I know that much.

i just thought i'd add my 2 cents...i have bangs, kinda side swept kinda blunt, but i don't wear them cuz since going CG my hair has gotten a lot more curly and they literally curly up into little spirals and sit on the top of my head (not exaggerating haha), but if you got them longer, you'd be ok cuz the curl would shrink it up to wear they would sit if your hair was straight

We all know my position on bangs with curly hair. I blow mine straight and wear them down but lately my SO is on a crusade for me to sweep them to the side. I would have to grow them out more, so I havent decided yet.
Let us know what you decide to do.

And for me it would be too much work. Once my hair dries, I really do not want to deal with styling it. I think shellynot's idea seems like it could get the goal achieved with the least amount of work. yay!

lol, i don't really have my bangs anymore, but they worked pretty well for me for awhile. I couldn't ever get them to sweep correctly when they were curly, though. If I wanted them side swept, I usually blow dryed them out the way I wanted:

If i left them curly, they usually looked like:
NOT a great pic of my curls, but you get the general idea...

oh, that looks very pretty. thank you for posting. i thought that straightened bangs might look weird with curly hair, but it really blends beautifully with your curls. i'll have to try this.
